The game is fun and has a very instresting gameplay. It still lacks some polish and is frustrating at times, I'll return to see the state of it after some development time and updates.

What to say? You love it or hate it. I love it despite all the DLCs. Obviusly the game is better with the DLCs but it is surely playable without them.
Stellaris often receives overhauls and so far I think each one of them was for the better.
If you like the grand strategy genre you won't be disappointed even more so if it's on sale.
