I don't like when non-Japanese studios do corny pastiche of Japanese media. This is a major turn-off point for me - this doesn't just feel like a forgery, it feels wholly unnecessary. Talented people drew this, scored this, programmed this, and it's all for something that could do a lot better by doing something authentic instead of trying to be Japanese with an American accent [and I 100% mean it, it feels exactly like that DESPITE being made in Spain]. That well and truly distracts me from something that is otherwise an interesting attempt at taking a BIT.TRIP RUNNER formula and mixing it with Skate to turn it into an expressive trick-racing experience with some gameplay depth. I am not willing to support this crime against art with my money, even if I see great potential for this studio to do something great. Come up with a better script!

The foundation of this game is pretty much a push-and-pull dynamic between pulling a lever at the slot machine and watching the paint dry. Heavy downtime might be an unfixable flaw of this concept, and it makes for quite a frustrating experience imo

A fun off-the-wall shooter that blends the cinematic theme park vibes of 7th generation FPS with the boomer shooter sensibilities. Sadly the story is kind of botched because of its sequel hook that went unresolved and kinda downgraded the experience as the whole.

Come for a hardcore platformer, stay for depression hopecore.

Regardless of this game's technical state over the years, both during the release and now [still is far from perfect if way more playable now], 2077 has always been a masterpiece in writing and worldbuilding, and Night City is one of the most captivating worlds I had the joy to experience, if only due to it being a dystopian hellscape where nobody is the true main character and everyone lives a hellish but glossy laissez-faire capitalism life. One of the best games I have ever played.

I will not approve of this crappy business practice no matter how much I love the series and how enthusiastic I am to want to have all it offers. I got this on discount but this should've been part of the base game.

I remember a kid who played this religiously on mobile, and now i feel kind of bad for that kid.

this game is comically and ruthlessly pay to win in its progression, with lower grade weapons, even the powerful stuff like sniper rifles, being effectively pea shooters against players wth jacked up armor (purchasable with money) who can delete you with a single shot of their p2w gun (purchasable with money or gambleable with lootboxes).
