I mean, it's ok. There's nothing really special that makes it stand out from any other JRPG once you get past the honeymoon phase, it's just "ok attack boss i can't die". I'd recommend it, but don't go in expecting something amazing like i was lead on to believe by other influencers and reviewers.

I never actually got to play the game, they just let me watch it.

amazing VN by key (same people who wrote Rewrite, their magnum opus). Not very generous but eh... good game play otherwise.

Feels more like an interactive movie, but not done well.

Everything is unrealistically slow... in attempting to replicate a cinematic experience, they've made everything horribly awkward and each frame collapses together to make it an unreasonable slog. Honestly feels like it was created by a studio of kids fresh out of game dev school over-exaggerating every little frame because they haven't learnt any better.

Combat was clunky and unresponsive, again a result of the over-exaggeration of every single frame. The "customization" involved % modifiers, nothing hugely interesting apart from the odd cool thing here and there.

Voice acting was great, won't fault em for that, although i did find the dialogue super cringe (this is subjective, and on a whole i can acknowledge most people would probably find it great)

There's no reason to play this over either Dishonored or Deus Ex, which are the obvious comparisons to Cyberpunk. Yes, i know it's an open-world, but it doesn't play on that enough to differentiate it from the aforementioned games..

Not a bad experience, Not a great one, Just Play Dishonored or Deus Ex instead... (both of which are like $2 these days)
