A good chapter in the Wofenstein saga. Good performance and fun game play.

If you just finished New Colossus, just ride that high and not look behind the curtain of the "next chapter". My biggest issue is how the previous studio was nailing it for so long (props) and they gave the development to Arkane Studios, who made Dishonored, which I really enjoyed, but everything is just OFF. It is a jarring transition to go from from Machine Games' chronicles to the one that Arkane put out. Performance is HORRIBLE. I just finished W:NC on very high settings and room to spare and I immediately after finishing launched W:YB and had GeForce optimize. The fps was unplayable. The lack of sliders in the video settings did not help much either. All I could really do is pick from a preset dropdown from low to ultra settings. Even on low it was unacceptable.

Besides that, the teenage sisters are annoying and the first 27 minutes I had in it was a giant leap in timeline from the last game and glazed over sequel opportunities that I hoped to see. Nope, huge time skip and 80's themes jammed in your eyes and ears. Essentially the same experience as liking the first Wonder Woman movie and then having that snuffed out when watching the 2nd one.

Bathesda, MachineGames, Arkane Studios, I expected better. I've enjoyed a lot of your work but this was a hard pass.
