Finally giving up on this game. I managed to climb up the ladder collect the cards I wanted and played countless games with decent success eventually made it to the top 50 all without paying a dime. I didn't use a meta trick deck, I created my own deck and used strategy based on my own experiences to determine how to counter others. With every addition of new cards, I started to lose more. The first major setback was when they introduced the resistance cards. I mainly played Japanese-German and I was just getting destroyed by the French decks especially the cancerous and flat out unfair card "Liberation". What's the solution to this? "Forced Retreat" but you have to pay 100 gold or real money to get the campaign and you only get ONE. What happens when you discard your hand to get rid of the resistance cards that cost 1 apiece to get out of your hand and discard to top card of your deck as well? BOOM a second liberation, then the cards you would normally be drawing are being discarded now too. There is no strategy to this game anymore. Simply go to youtube or another website, look at a deck with a high win rate and literally just throw them on the board and win. Kamikaze Decks, Resistance Decks, 4/6 0 move 0 attack tanks in the first turn. Its all a big trick now. I'm done with this

Squad leader sees the southern flank isn't being defended, we haul ass to the outskirts at the edge of a forest. On the way we discover the German commander holed up in a small house shooting a pistol at us. We kill him with grenades and I blow up his jeep with a demolition charge, the rest of the squad scattering as I yell fire in the hole. We push onward to the top of a hill. 5 minutes of silence pass, suddenly watching the woods I get wounded. A rifleman throws a smoke and our medic sprints several hundred feet through rifle fire and revives me. We take up positions where I got shot along a fence row on a hill overlooking a farmstead. Suddenly our medic goes down and I toss a smoke and sprint over and revive him with my single syrette of morphine. We pick off 15 Germans trying to push through into the farm. Then with our machinegunner laying down suppressing fire we storm the farmstead and kill 10 more. I'm the only one who survives the assault and hide out in a barn as more German reinforcements arrive, personally killing 5 with my bolt action rifle before the game ends and we win.

♥♥♥♥ like this happens every night in decently led squads in Post Scriptum. If you want a modern day successor to the original Red Orchestra, this is your game. Love it
