Way too addicting. Too many hours. My life gone. 0/10 don't recommend unless you're single and have no friends

Additional 1108 hours. Sigh...

This game is amazing. There are so many things that make it so incredibly unique and so beautiful to play.
I stumbled across Shelter one day and began playing it. Although I've only played it a few times, I found the art style enchanting and the story sorrowful but beautiful. When I discovered there was a Shelter 2 in which you could be a lynx, I was very happy. I must say I enjoyed this game more, due to the fact that it's more like WolfQuest in the way that it's free roam.
So, naturally, I HAD to buy Meadow, and it's honestly, for me, the best game out of the entire series. There is a point to the game, but it's not nearly as deep as the others--there are no cubs for you to worry about keeping alive, there are no dangers. Just fun with strangers. You have to communicate with people through actions and emoticons because there is no text or voice chat, which is honestly one of its' winning features. People in Meadow are unusually friendly and polite--and maybe this is because they have no chat, or because this game draws a certain type of gamer.
Usually in each playthrough I make one good friend, and we will dart through the world of Meadow, alternating finding flowers/crystals/obelisks and just playing around and having a good time. When it's time to log off, I'm sad, but happy at the same time that Meadow allowed me to have this amazing brief friendship that makes me feel happy.
This game is extraordinary, one of my favorites ever. I love it. The music, the graphics, and the people all come together to make this game truly memorable.
Also, it's cheap, so why not.

Very interesting game. I found it, downloaded it, and played it all in the same day, knowing it would be a quick play.
I'm usually drawn to games created with the polygon style, so I enjoyed it. The game ran rather smoothly, only lagging once. The story is interesting, albeit predictable. The voice acting is rather well done, I was impressed--since from what I had read, it was more of a homemade game than anything.
There were a few times that I got stuck (falling off the path, randomly flying, trapping myself in a crevice), but it was easily fixable by jumping a few times. Luckily the game doesn't seem to care much for physics, so although it was easy to trap myself, it was just as easy to get out.
Some of the expanses were just a tad too long. You can run by using the left Shift key, which I thankfully discovered, as it made traversing the wide open spaces far easier. There were also a few times when I wasn't quite sure where to go, but fully exploring the area around the tape I had just listened to fixed the issue and led me where I needed to go.
I also wish there was an 'official' loading screen--even just some text slapped onto those white screens, because the first two times I wasn't sure if the game had frozen or not.
All in all, I quite enjoyed the experience--peaceful and tranquil while still making your heart ache for the poor guy. Very stable, I didn't run into any game-breaking issues in the 20 or so minutes it took me to complete it.
6/10, and thank you!
