I wanted to love this game, and it has its charms, but I wouldn't recommend it. The graphics are nice, especially the pixel art environments, but the characters are rather forgettable, and the writing and world building is fairly run-of-the-mill uninventive cyberpunk noir stuff (speaking as someone who's usually a huge fan of that kind of thing). I'm usually a big fan of indie gems, so I was disappointed that this fell short.

I wouldn't mind the slightly awkward phrasing of clearly translated dialogue if it was interesting - but it just kind of isn't. It's sort of like a game written by someone who's writing their first ever cyberpunk noir story; they've got to get all the tropes out before they can move onto something more original.

The puzzles are very simple and not really related to the detective part of the game; there doesn't seem to be any actual "putting it together yourself" elements, which is the whole fun of a detective game. The inventory system is very basic and there's zero-to-no guessing about which item to use where, it's normally extremely obvious. It's almost more like a visual novel that you get to walk around in, with occasional small puzzles thrown in.

The best part of it is when you get to play as the cat, which I wasn't expecting. There's some funny gems in there, since the cats apparently have their own politics and culture, and some platformer-style puzzling which is almost more challenging than the puzzles you get with Rex, the main character.

It's a cute game. But it's very basic. If it had been an hour long it'd be a cute short game project for a student or a fresh graduate, a way to showcase art abilities and to practice storytelling, but there's just not really enough substance for a full game. If you're not the kind of person to be bothered by that, maybe give it a go, and I might play a bit more of it to see if it improves at all. But after the first two hours, I'm not blown away.

Everybody knows (I hope) about the horrors of what happened in Nazi Germany. But this game shows you a new side of it. The feeling of encroaching dread, things getting slowly worse year by year, and feeling utterly helpless to do anything about it. It's powerful.

Bought this on sale and very happy with the amount of gameplay I've had out of it, although I would say it's a relatively "shallow" game compared to some other survival/resource management games I've played.

I would still recommend it, with the caveat that the English can be a little wonky, the UI is a little clunky, and as other reviews have touched on, there are some odd game mechanic choices (like not being able to combine mushrooms that have different expiration dates). The characters all have distinct personalities but the wonky dialogue makes it hard to get to know them.

I really enjoy this game and I'm impressed it was made by just two people. There are a few "quirks" to it that other people have mentioned, like the way creating rooms/placing floors works, but I figured out how to work around them fairly easily. The one thing I wish for is a campaign mode, something with a storyline that maybe extends the tutorial a bit so you have more of a sense of progression. The network mode does have a sense of progression, but I always like a good campaign.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, but every single loading screen (and there are a lot of them) takes about 3-5 minutes. I've only played it for about half an hour and 2/3rds of that time has been spent on loading screens. I have a mid-range laptop that's a few years old, wouldn't expect it to run like butter but this makes it unplayable. Having looked it up this is apparently a known problem with this game. Sadly have to refund it.

I really like sim games and this game did catch my attention for quite a few days. But ultimately I've started to become endlessly frustrated with the minor bugs that affect gameplay. Staff members and passengers frequently get stuck for no reason, and the baggage system is so buggy that it ends up delaying all your flights by several hours. The game is indie and the community is tiny so finding bug fixes or bug workarounds is nearly impossible.

I really want to love this game, and it's so close to being excellent, but the bugs really ruin it.

Kind of fun, but there isn't much freedom to be had with the decorating part. You simply put the most expensive item from a list of items they want, even if the most expensive item looks hideous. I'm also a bit puzzled by why putting down items the tenant provides (the "special items") sometimes results in the tenant not liking them - surely if they provided the items they should like them?!

I like the range of jobs you can do and it has potential, but I think it needs some of the design freedom House Flipper had that made it such good fun.
