First things first: i won't pretend this game isn't janky as ♥♥♥♥. Everything works, but it won't go without some lag, and it isn't the prettiest. This also isn't really a builder: You're not doing anything on a grand scale, you're not making new landmarks. But i did find myself enjoying building my garden, and stacking shiny magic things in it. There's always something to do, and the combat is easy enough to me for a relaxing experience.
Also, let's be real, there's not enough games that let me restory a place instead of destroying it with industry. i can only replay Terra Nil so many times. If you played all of The Planet Crafter and need m o r e, there are not many options, and i'm glad this is one.

Classic tower defense, this will push all the right buttons if you're a fan of the genre. i wouldn't recommend this to newbies, however, because it becomes quite grindy if you want to get ahead. i really liked being able to set the battlefield, and how different the factions play. i had a good time.

Neat little game. It's nothing grandiose, but it looks great and the story is engaging enough to pull me along.

Neat little puzzler. Very colourful and vibrant, so it's fun to look at for hours. It all clicks together pretty satisfyingly, which is important to keep me in the game. i'm not good at this kind of game, so i don't really know if it's hard, but i absolutely did need a deep understanding of all mechanics to get the hardest point goals and the puzzle mode is kicking my ass.

Just one more round! Yeah, this thing is addicting. It's not all rounded, you can tell this is Early Access, but all the bips and bops are there to provide a great experience. i like this game because it's kinda like FTL, but paced like Slay The Spire. i can't stomach FTL at all, since i'm not good at being fast. Breachway just needs me to be smart and a little lucky, it doesn't just pass me by. Turns out i'm not smart or lucky either, but that's a different complaint.

Has a cute style and fun gameplay that is just a little puzzley. Probably not any kind of challenge for experienced gamers, though.

Well, i'm having fun! It's like doing a bunch of Civ speedruns. It's a bit grindy and i think it should go way into the future instead of ending in more or less the present day.

Finally i'm getting a crafting/survival game that is fun and interesting without any combat! Not gonna like, there is jank here, and not a trivial amount. It's also probably not the most beautiful crafter - that one still goes to Satisfactory. But let me tell you, the elation you feel when the sky turns up blue for the first time... That is just beautiful. (Also, the manic laughter once you can finally explode these stupid rocks... Ah. Splendid.)
Also, i'm just not very good at the action parts of these kind of games, and i like relaxing! There, i said it, and this game has been a good time throughout.

This game has a really good premise and executes it in a way that is fun, elegant and very addicting. The "number go up" feeling is intense. i would like a few more options of viewing my progress, like Slay the Spire would do, but it's not really needed as such. Oh yeah, the look of this game is also really cool, it has this CRT look but shakes it up for effect, so it never feels stale. Very dynamic, i'm a big fan of this.

It's another Survivor game. This doesn't do anything too different, but it does to it better than possibly any other Survivor game. It looks gorgeous, it runs smoothly, and it escalates very satisfyingly. Do keep in mind this is still under development, so the late game will not feel done.
