game is fun and has good graphics, however I can only give it a 3/5 due to a number of bugs and feature choices. there are graphical glitches with mining and (bodiless) npcs (yea, head, hands and feet but no body). chests are a pain to open and annoying after the first 10. gathering resources, be it on the ground or a tree/ore deposit, requires precise standing and direction. doors can be just as annoying to open due to this. there is no minimap... seriously terrible choice considering all the effort put into hidden areas, stacked pathways, and a frozen camera angle. also my save file got corrupted twice and I had to start over.

Worth a download for a quick afternoon of gaming. Very similar to FF1 & FF2, but without the hidden kill zones or game ending bugs. Boss mobs are sufficiently strong to provide a challenge but not impossible to beat. Decent story and plenty of hints from NPCs and bookshelves to point you in the right direction. I was able to do a 100% completion in about 7 hrs. For a quick game, worth 4/5 stars.

There is definitely potential here. The story is interesting and the character development is decent for some, good for others. The graphics are good along with the background detail.

Unfortunately, the storyline is hard to follow. One moment, you're controlling the prince and the next sentence it's a merchant without any transition. Character dialog changes style as well, leaving you wondering what was left out during the jump.
