Big improvement on all aspects from the first entry, the gameplay is really fun with interesting weapons and gadgets and the animations are just great fun, you can tell they were made with love. I much prefer the plot & writing in this one as well, feels a little more easy to get into the mindset of the factions and how they work as opposed to being befuddled as to how anyone could live at all in such a society that seemed to plague the first entry.

This is definitely not the Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines sequel we were all hoping for though I wouldn't discount it entirely. There has been a bad funk hanging around this game all throughout it's development and whilst completely warranted I wouldn't write the game off from the get go.

The combat feels quite nice, the animations are very slick. Whilst it's not an incredible challenge it does fit that overpowered elder vampire shtick that the game is going for. Not having any weapons other than the Mirror's Edge 'whatever you pick up' style is a little disappointing but the clan powers do make up for it with some cool stuff to do.

The story is a little breakneck for my tastes. Would have been interesting to have our main character a little more baffled by the modern world and take a little more time to explain the factions at play.

It's not what people wanted but I urge you to try and set aside the expectations and just give it a go. It's sucked me in with a bit of mystery and some fun characters here and there. Where most of the recent World of Darkness video games have been touched up text adventures which are by no means bad, this just has that extra bit of meat on it's bones which feels more engaging.

It's pretty great. The new movement system feel really nice to play around with in combat, grappling and boosting all over the place whilst raining fire down is always a recipe for fun. The plot is inoffensive and predictable at times but it's a good revolution formula that's hard to mess up. Characters are all pretty fun, no intrusively annoying ones that I've met so far. The performance is a bit of a bugbear but I've managed to play it on a pretty old rig at low to medium graphics wise and being Borderlands the graphics have never really been a big selling point I feel. Overall it's quite the blast and I'm looking forward to sinking more hours into it with some friends.

More of that good stuff, nice changes to make things a little easier with M&K. Optimisation is pretty rough however
