I've been waiting for years to see what the developers of Game Dev Tycoon would come up with next. I've noticed that the team has improved in every part of their development skills over the years. It seems they've managed to design a more complex tycoon game. We also seem to be in for rich storytelling that makes these complex systems enjoyable. Cuthbert's comments about his own life created an emotional connection to the demo that I hadn't expected. The content of the Bayou Chronicle, on the other hand, adds depth to the world. We are truly facing an indie game of substance.

I didn't get into the parts where we can do custom designs, but the provided options are extraordinary. The three-dimensional design of the interface, despite being a risky choice, is handled very masterfully. The graphics are already exceptionally good.

Although the demo is incredibly good, I would have liked to see more content about what else I can experience in our tavern.

I'm waiting with excitement.

Heyecanla bekliyorum.

Bullet Ballet is a promising young team's journey to immerse the player in an exciting comic book world. The demo isn't perfect. There are many shortcomings. However, it's enough to get excited about the world and story the game will offer when it's released.

I’ve admired Nihan İşler’s storytelling ever since Havsala, so when I heard she was the creative director behind Leila, I was already intrigued. I had the chance to play bits of it during demo showcases in the past, and even then, I could sense its potential. But nothing prepared me for how deeply moving the final version would be.

The magic of art-driven games lies in their ability to spark unexpected emotional connections through our personal experiences. While playing Leila, that connection hit me so profoundly that it’s hard to put into words. Much like Florence and Gris, Leila masterfully explores themes of grief and healing—and it gave me goosebumps throughout. Despite its short runtime, it left a lasting impact on me.

One of the game’s most striking achievements is its visual artistry. The independent team didn’t let technical limitations overshadow their creative vision. Built on a 2D foundation, Leila boldly incorporates 3D scenes, intricate animations, detailed illustrations, and visual styles inspired by various art movements—all of which seamlessly support its narrative. The beautifully composed soundtrack only deepens the emotional experience. You can feel the care and dedication poured into every frame, reflecting a development process fueled by passion and precision.

Ubik Studios has proven that the Turkish game industry is capable of much more than just mobile titles. Leila is a powerful example of how independent games can offer rich, meaningful experiences. Its success will hopefully inspire more developers to take bold creative steps and showcase the cultural potential Turkey has to offer.

Leila reminded me once again that games aren’t just about fun or entertainment—they can also be therapeutic tools and pathways to self-discovery. This game is a brilliant testament to the emotional and psychological depth that digital media can achieve. Sometimes, the true power of games lies in their ability to hold up a mirror to ourselves. Leila does this with grace, offering a safe space for reflection and healing.

I feel truly lucky to have experienced it. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved—and if you get the chance, I wholeheartedly recommend taking this journey.
