10+ years of development and 3 studios for this game. 90% off just a year and a half after the release. that alone should have discouraged you from buying it but still, you decide to give it a shot nonetheless.

i paid 5e instead of 50 and still feel scammed, i would instead recommend the first dead island or dying light and it's DLC

Honestly it's an extremely generic & bloated mobile game, story is like genshin: boring quests.
Servers are an absolute mess, 100ms for the lowest, had 2 loading screen while fighting a world boss

Just don't expect much from it if you're planning on playing it

Made it to UVH 3 here's my review so far:

TLDR: Gameplay is great (except end game), story is bad but less cringe than bl3 and optimization is hot garbage.

Didn't enjoyed the story, some people will but for me. The jokes were reddit-tier, still a big improvement from the 3 which story was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad i still can't realize they thought it was ok to release.

The endgame is non-existant at launch like always. Once you complete the story you unlock 5 features:
- Specialization (secondary skill tree for stats and passives)
- Firmware transfer machine
- Moxxy big encore (better loot from respawnable boss in exchange of eridium)
- Maurice vending machine (weekly randomly located vending machine that got 1 legendary)
- Wildcard missions (weekly random ♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaign mission that gives you legendary)

The thing is that the wildcard missions that allows you to get a guaranteed legendary AND go to the next UVH lvl once you completed the challenges for your current UVH lvl are the only end game content.
They somehow managed to take the worse of 2 and 3 by making you replay the same boring story missions with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ modifiers and oh my do theses modifiers are annoying. One modifier can ruin your build forcing you to respec.

As for optimization, i have a R5 9600X, rtx3080, 32GB of RAM -> 80fps AVG at 1080p with everything on low and DLSS Balanced, my game looks blurry as ♥♥♥♥ and even worse than bl3 and i can't even hit 120. even worse in fights it goes down to 40 in some areas.

The infamous CEO Randy Pitchford will tell you that you're not a true PREMIUM GAMER enough to play their game and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will say "runs fine on me computer duh" while playing with DLSS and FG with blurry ♥♥♥♥ and input delay on their screen thinking this is normal.

very fun but play with a controller if you don't want to buy a new keyboard each time you launch the game

story is absolute cinema with various paths/endings, soundtrack and art style are really good
