Absolutely a blast! Clearly a lot of love went into making this game, and it shows- The ridiculous stories and unlockables keep replayability up, and the endless mode is something any roguelike/lite needs. With how secret a lot of the secrets are, you'll be finding new things after hours of playing- I found a non-unlockable gun during a recent run, allowing me two weapons to switch between, instead of being stuck with just one as I had been for the entire time before.
If you're trying to decide between this and Paranautical Activity, go for this. The graphics aren't headache-inducingly neon and blocky, and the gameplay in general feels so much more polished- which is quite a feat for a one-man team. (two if you include the music.)

Charming, beautiful, and thoroughly enjoyable!

The puzzles are weird enough so that you don't immediately expect the solutions, but at the same time, aren't obscure enough to the point of "try everything in your inventory on everything." I also found that I was never blindly looking for clickables, either- If you were frustrated with Deponia for both of these things, you shouldn't have that problem here.

There are a *few* moments that feel unpolished, but I'll just tack that up to having played it during the backer beta.

Needless to say, though, if you aren't interested in point and click adventures, it may be hard for you to get interested- if you are interested in them, though, what are you waiting for?

An odd game- It's definetely entertaining, and the mechanics are pretty solid and easy to work with. There are a couple areas where some of the platforming seems poorly thought out or sloppy, especially in the latter half of the game, but the quirky dialogue and downright weird storyline keep you going.

Also, I should mention that there really isn't much else to the game other than playing with the laser, rocket booster, and grapple. It can get a little repetitive, as they're all introduced to you in the beggining, and everything following that is just using these tools to progress, often in a somewhat repetitive manner.

Honestly, i can't reccomend this game enough! The difficulty may seem over-the-top at first, but that's what makes this game so good: it keeps mercilessly driving you onwards. You constantly unlock new treasures to find, too, and treasure drops are rare enough (but not so rare that it's not fun!) so that you'll still be seeing things you've never seen before even after a hundred tries- expect to die often, though, so don't get this if you get frustrated easily.
