This is is the perfect follow up to an already great game, improving on what was probably the best title in its genre and expanding it to higher levels with a wider customization, a new level of difficulty, a brand new story, all while keeping the bone structure at the base of the first game.
The only downside to me is that it is a total follow up on a previous game, lacking maybe the innovation of a new setting or bolder choices in favor of adding a new (final-er) chapter to the story of the original Hades.

Pretty fun game with 10-12 hours of gameplay followed by a bit of luck-based grind to get the last fishes you might have missed.
Totally worth getting on sale, I have yet to get/play the DLCs

I really liked the fast paced combat and the feeling of owerpoweredness that comes from mastering different weapons & their accessories. I think it's great that they are rather easy to unlock (plus mastery tokens can be used to skip some of the challenges) so you can have the full arsenal at your disposal way before the game ends.
I like the fact that double jump and dash allowed the game level design to feel less stale and corridor-y, but at the same time I think it's what made developers go a bit overboard with the amount of secrets & collectibles hidden in every level. I get it that it's all extra stuff, but games play on FOMO and completionist instincts as well so having to hit tab to check the map for secrets after every single combat/change of hallway really broke the pace of the game on my first playthrough.
I don't care for the multiplayer mode so I won't comment on that.
Overall the game is great, the OST is great, it was a good buy.

This game satisfies the three basic instincts of most men: digging holes, shooting stuff, squashing bugs. 10/10

Early Access Review
They'll have to ban Vampire Survivors from participating in the Steam Steam Awards in 2022 because otherwise it's gonna take over every single prize.

The kind of pearl in the mud you get from exploring your discovery queue, this is the 2D pixel art body horror free to play child of Agar.io and the first stage of Spore.

Likely one of the best clickers out there, even if it's not really just a clicker.
The game revolves around a system of formations, different teams to be composed chosing from an expanding roster of 80+ heroes with different looks, abilities and lore, coming from D&D history, canon material and partnerships with popular online campaigns.
Compared to others clickers, which usually are infinite just because of endless scaling, IdleChampions gets its longevity from having a lot of adventures to play through already that gets constantly expanded with frequent event and patches.
The game is rather f2p friendly requiring absolutely no purchase to progress, keep up or skip ahead, it's more of a time sink rather than a money sink as it should be by nature.
Those who are getting scared off by the amount of DLCs don't really understand the nature of those DLCs, since most of those are simply packs of heroes or extra clickers, nothing that can't be otherwise obtained by simply playing.

This game is so good I have no words to recommend it with.
Too bad there isn't going to be a sequel any soon.

Short and fun puzzle game for 2 players, with in game voice chat included.
Took ~2h to finish it the first time but YMMV.
No reason not to play it since it's free :)
