10 out of 10 smacky bum bums

Loved this game. Characters are unique and interesting, the story is fun and the stealth mechanics and narrative save/reload system made it really fun to experiment and try weird things. It does kind of reuse some areas of the map multiple times which was a bit tedious occasionally but otherwise this is one of my favourite games of the year. The DLC packs are both pretty fun (Yuki is slightly (very) OP but a lot of fun to play).

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this or not despite it being very much a game I should like and I dragged my feet on buying it until the winter sale but honestly this is one of my favourite games I've played all year. The tactile feel of the UI and the fishing games and the creepy little world it creates come together to make a really nice little experience. Upgrading your boat becomes really addictive and rewarding. Great game!

If you have friends to play this with locally, this is pretty much the best game you can get for multiplayer fun.
