Doom 2016 on steroids

TL;DR
Buy this game! Best RPG game I've ever played and in my top 3 games of all time without a doubt. There are hundreds of hours of gameplay here. The gameplay is quality unlike games like Skyrim which pretty much relies on mods to be fun for extended play sessions, which this game also offers. Dialog and story is also some of the best you'll find in recent games with every piece of dialog being voiced which is just a great thing for an Indie game to do.

Seriously 9.9/10 game.
This is honestly the best RPG I have ever played and one of the best games I've played in general. This is one of the few single-player games that I just can't stop playing.

Before I played this game me and my friends played a lot of D&D, but we couldn't find enough time to play as much as we'd like since we were in our final year of school. So for ages I looked for a game that could emulate that same expirence. Being able to do what I want, having funny moments as well as epic. When one of my friends showed me this I was hooked.

The mechanics are almost the exact same as old school table top games, so iif you're into that turn based combat you'll love this, but even someone like me that normally hates those kind of combat mechanics in games I just loved these just because of how polished they were. The combat suprisingly has a lot of depth to it. There's so many different spells and equipment and many of them interact with eachother in their own ways.

The story and dialog is also one of the best I've ever seen in a game. Most of the dialog has so much character and is of such high quality, only of the voices feel as they were acted poorly, but 10000x better than you'll see in any Bethesda game. The fact that all of the dialog in the game is voice acted is also just an amaznig thing. It makes it feel as you're living in a real world and it also helps with the consistancy where some lines would be voiced and some wouldn't. This wouldn't mean anything iff the story wasn't good, which thankfully it isn't. The story is so good. It pulls you emotionally in so many different directions and you have to make so many decisions that make or break relationships and have an effect on what happens for the rest of the game.

Character creation is also pretty good, different races and classes having different traits and abilities as per usual. This part is the only part that I find to be pretty hard on new characters since some races and classes are harder to play than others, which can make it difficult and punishing. This can become a non-issue early in the game since you have the choice to pretty much change everything about you if you're not happy about it.

The one thing that I wish could be different about the game is its modding cababilities. Sadly as of now there aren't any mods anywhere near as big as mods that you find in Bethesda games, but thankfully this isn't a Bethesda game so you don't need mods to make it interesting lmao. This game does have the ability to act as your own Dungeon Master and make a whole game for you, your friends and your fellow steam gamers. and you also have the ability to download other peoples campains which just extends the hundreds of hours in the base game.

This game is almost a perfect example of what a game should be. For the gamer by not constantly trying to ram microtransactions down every hole in your body, have hundreds of high quality content from launch. Constant interaction with the community, THESE GUYS MAKE VLOGS MAN!!! and last but not least they don't do what every triple-a developer is doing now and making all their content and just releasing it as expansions. These guys are just about to release a FREE expansion that adds hundreds of more hours of gameplay which I would be more than happy to pay for since it is actually worth it and it's made to add value to the game instead of be a stupid cash grab.

SO IN SUMMARY. Buy this game, its amazing how an indie studio made on of the best games of recent times from a kickstarter with a reasonably small studio compared to multi-billion dollar companies that make subpar games at best. These people really care about what they create and it shows in their final product. I recommend this game to everyone and I feel like a better person everytime I do so.

This is actually one of the best games in the whole world. If you love competitive gaming and E-Sports you'll love this game. The game requires good talking skills, good map knowlegde and good aim.

Pros:
Runs really well on bad PC builds (I get ~300+ fps on a medium build
Lots of fun
Lots of updates
Forces you to be smart
Actually requires skill unlike CoD
Semi-Decent community
Great custom skins and maps by the community
Accepting community (I come from console gaming and I was accepted into the community)

Cons:
Cheating (There aren't as many hackers as there was in the past and because someone shoots you through smoke doesn't mean they have walls)
Smurfing(I don't have a problem with smurfing, it makes me try harder and become a better player but can be annoying for players of lower skills)
Silver is AIDS and full of people that don't know how to play the game
Toxic community (The community is mostly nice but the toxic people stand out and can sometimes ruin the expirence)
Gaben doesn't give me a knife. If you like the game and get a knife pls give it to me :)
