The game itself seems pretty cool but it's a terrible port, with mouse and keyboard controls not even displayed in the game, and awful performance hiccups after playing for an hour or two.

Wait until they fix the game before considering a purchase.

I completed the campaign after about 16 hours of playtime and this game is honestly phenomenal. I can't believe that it was made by more or less 2 people.

Pros:
-Unbelievably good lighting...shining a flashlight into an ambulance or doing one of the underground levels shows how well they did on this
-Weapon interactions are very well done...being able to operate a pump shotgun one-handed is wicked satisfying
-The atmospheric music accentuates the post apocalyptic vib nicely
-Weapon attachments and sprays are a lot of fun
-A bunch of content considering the number of people working on this
-Everything seems custom made...large number of types of zombies and maps are hand crafted

Cons:
-Optimization is not great and is very poor on the final chapter of the campaign
-Server browser is a little difficult to use
-It took a lot of tweaking to figure out the best anti-aliasing config

Grade: Solid A
Summary: Other than Half-Life: Alyx, I think that this might be the best VR story game that I've played. I love SuperHot and Beat Saber, but they are more of tech demonstrations.

I didn't pick this up years ago because I felt like I shouldn't support a game that just wouldn't leave alpha. However, I picked it up a few weeks ago, and I am seriously impressed with how fun they've made this game. Even though it's still in alpha, I'm happy with the product as is. Everything else they'll do is just bonus!

For those that love racing games for the beautiful sweeping courses, the high intensity crash evasions, and gorgeous cars customized in your own livery, you can't do much better than this. The replay system is, as in the first one, very fun and easy to use, with an additional feature of easily being able to upload videos to YouTube.

There are a couple flaws with the game, such as the limited choices of camera views during replays and some strange option restrictions (lowest volume 50%? huh?), but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed it.
