Tons of fun, great overall feel of the gunplay (other than the egregious bloom), and clearly meant to be a successor to BF4. But with the traditional multiplayer taking 2nd priority to the battle royale, and the sheer number of ads and store items shoved in your face, not to mention the overpriced battle pass, and the general feel of the menus and settings, outside of gameplay itself, the game sucks…

Great game, tons of fun, especially with friends. Arrowhead Game Studios followed up the first game with an absolute banger, now all that's left is for Sony not to mess it up. Highly recommend!

After more play time, the game has certainly become more fun as it all comes back. The multiplayer is fun an engaging in your own skill bracket but the skill based matchmaking is skill horrid and often produces very one-sided games, to one side or the other. All the gunplay and other game mechanics, aside from melee and melee weapons, feel good, and overall the multiplayer is pretty fun. There is a glaring issue of the over-monetization of cosmetics and large inconsistencies in melee range and reported position, but much better than my original review.

Due to recent changes in the game as well as blatant favoritism to certain in-game nations, the game has become horrendously balanced and nearly unplayable for certain people. Between poor servers, desync, obvious cheating, and other issues, the game is in a very poor state and needs to be improved. However the managing company seems to think that simply adding more content and doing occasional bug fixes is enough to fix the game, but it has done the opposite. They clearly only care about money. Don't play this game.

Very fun and creative game. use your intellect and building skills and you can essentially accomplish anything in the game. Mods add a whole new dimension and even the newer updates give the game more sustinence.
