My state is pretty cool with people driving impared. It's messed up. Usually traffic deaths are considered unintentional accidents, even when one person causes the accident by negligence, unless they're commited by minorities. He'll probably get a $300 fine, lose his license for 3 months, and get suspended jail time for killing someone.
