Excellent gameplay loop, catchy music, good variety of builds and character playstyles, Just needs a bit more polish, and in time, could easily stand among the greats of Action Roguelikes.

Sifu will absolutely not hold your hand, it'll knock you down, over and over. It is tough, it is punishing, it CAN be unfair at times, but almost all of these difficulties can be mitigated or straight up nullified through learning and utilizing the full-extent of your kit/abilities.

The aesthetics of this game are phenomenal, it has the typical kung fu film plot of wanting to avenge your father, But there is enough depth for it to make you want a bit more.

The game is loaded with references from various other kung fu/action thriller films, from Oldboy to the Matrix to The Raid.

No other game, beat em' ups or otherwise, managed to really push me as much as Sifu did to get better at something.
I'd recommend this game to anyone who loves a challenge and the feeling of overcoming it.

Nothing like the old Paragon currently, cannot recommend.
At best, follow and wait for changes & updates to happen.
