Gameplay is fun, the writing is annoying. Just let me salvage ships.

Story's pretty pleasant, though it doesn't really punish you for making decisions like some other games would, but it also doesn't arbitrarily punish you for making decisions for the sake of maintaining the story. The only issue I came across was a loading bug where it would say something along the lines of "This line is blank" and the scene not loading properly, requiring me to reload to the last autosave. It would fix it, though it should be fixed already as this probably occurs mostly after the first two chapters.

The game is alright, it's fairly balanced, if not very lenient for an MMO with the content that's within it. The amount of currencies is annoying, but it's workable.

It's hard to take this game seriously when the first thing that happens within the first decade of the game is two million Rajputs migrating to Canada and Australia. Hardly an economic simulator, let alone a social simulator.

Game is literally unplayable until the devs fix the browser issues.

Update: Game is now unplayable due to the latency issues and its involvement with the physics. Everything rubberbands so inconsistently that vehicle gameplay is impossible. You should've just waited to release UE5 when it was finished and communicated the change to the server hosts, but you didn't, because you do not care about the player experience, just milking the new players who won't know any better.

In addition, I would avoid this game for the time being with the recent update, as many new players are joining. This alone is not an issue, but everyone new just wants to rambo and not even listen to instruction from their squad leaders, or in worse situations they'll take over squad lead roles and hardly communicate with their squads and even on occasion take commander assets and ultimately waste them. Servers like Riplomacy are ripe with this sort of problem where many individuals are petty, will intentionally strike out at you to give themselves a justification to not work with you and then pat themselves on the back when the match is lost due to their own incompetence. It's ridiculous and these same problems plagued Squad '44 and it's only going to ruin all the good of the game as people no longer wish to dedicate the time to garner these stupid "commendation tokens" when the people who are actually instrumental for victory are hardly at all getting any sort of commendation. You can simply farm them from your friends.

This game is to going to die because both the game is lacking in optimization, and the community server admins are too focused on dealing with "player behavior" than dealing with the rampant problem of a lack in communication between squad leads, or squad leads who do not even have a microphone. I love this game a lot, and it's no longer the game it was six months ago before the Japan update.

Not as good as Squad '44.

Revising my earlier positive review. I'm not a fan of the current state of the agent system. It would be fine with the corporate espionage and maybe using the dirt of those actors to slander the businesses they work for, but some of them like sending an agent to assault an actor is downright crazy that there's no risk for the AI to just constantly spam these agents against your actors not even two years into the game. In addition, the mild changes regarding the film quality actually make it quite difficult to even contend in the early game which cannot be circumvented without technologies that you yourself cannot even acquire. Personally, I'd rather the mafia be the ones handling the more "rougher" methods rather than the company itself as not a single incident comes to mind of an actor being assassinated by some other company in actual history. The business research of the AI should be more tied to similar limitations as the player, it's absolutely frustrating when you cannot even produce a 7/10 star film within two years of the game unlike before where acquiring the right personnel made it possible, while the AI gets to release near 10-star flicks from the get-go. I don't mind that they're grandfathered companies and so should have some sort of advantage, but we're still only some 10 years into the main hay-day of these companies who are still using the same technologies as your own company.

Main character who sometimes has his moments, combat is okay, puzzles are just annoying and not really difficult, cutscenes are far too long for what they need to be. Just ultimately a pain with how inconsistent the quicksaves/checkpoints are at where sometimes they're convenient and other times they'll set you back 15 minutes. I may return to it later but this game is just frustrating more than it is entertaining so far. If the game is better as it goes on, I may revise the review though I will leave my original comments.
