It's a good game!

Don't listen to people saying it's too hard. Same as the base game, you get to decide how hard your experience is. I've been walking in grossly overlevelled with a 0 IQ big bonk/shield build and I'm steamrolling everything.

A very good entry into the Survivors genre (vampiresurvivorlike? Who knows). The crunchy graphics remind me a lot of diablo 1, the gameplay is basic, as is expected from games of this genre, but still different enough from VS to feel fresh, the upgrade system is nice and has a lot of strategy to it rather than just "make number go bigger", there is some actual build variety. The meta-progression is also quite helpful and makes you feel a lot stronger with enough time and upgrades. I wish some stats (like Force) were a bit better explained, but overall it's a solid experience with very good replayability for early access.

It's a solid vampire survivors clone with a mix of Hades (character interactions, the boons system etc). Graphics are really pretty, but it's a bit lacking in content right now, as there's only one map and a run lasts up to 20 minutes. Also, the four melee classes play very similarly. I'm still giving it a thumbs-up because there's the foundation for something great here, but right now there's just not that much to do. Wait & see before buying, in my opinion.

Don't mind me just doing a review for the steam awards task. Play the game, it's a good game.

It's a great RPG, if a bit clunky at times.

Don't listen to the reviews touting about "malware", the devs just added a tool that lets them collect data for marketing purposes. While that's not great (especially since it didn't seem to be optional):

1. It's not malware. Malware would be a trojan, a crypto miner, something that adds a backdoor to your computer. This is pretty much harmless (your data is already harvested everywhere, hell, even using Steam is sending out your data to a company).
   
2. It was removed immediately after the devs noticed the backlash.
   
3. It's NOT malware, stop calling it malware ffs, that's just a blatant lie at this point.

Good game

It's everything the first one was, and more. More balance, more items, more classes, more stuff to do. This is what a sequel should be.
