I don't know if some people are just stupid, but clearly the game has not been delisted yet, so everyone raging off the rails are out of touch. ANYWAY, Yakuza 0 is a great game, and a great intro into the series.

It's a cute game, but you can literally finish it in under an hour. The prestige options can be finished way too quickly.
This game could be a lot of fun if things were balanced a bit better. More prestige options, better spaced progression. Another layer or two beyond just paying back the debt.
I hope to see updates that extend the game beyond the current level. Because after reaching the current end, there literally is nothing more. For a $3 clicker game, the cuteness is not enough to justify the price.

This is about 3 hours long, but worth every penny. It is such an experience. Never quite knowing what to expect, and everything just.... fits together. (pun not intended, but is apt!)
I loved every moment of this.

I've said for years that Fantasy Life on the 3DS is one of my favorite games of all time. The perfect balance between combat, crafting, and gathering. It's like all that I like about MMORPG games, without having to deal with other people or a subscription.
I love being able to level up each life individually, and how things you do in one Life can contribute to improving things in another Life. Or you can just focus on the life that you prefer.
So when they've continuously teased a sequel for years, I've sat eagerly waiting. And hoping. And now it is FINALLY out. And I'm glad to say it DELIVERS.
Almost everything that I loved about the original Fantasy Life is back and better. The ONLY thing that I can possibly complain about is that there's no more "bounties" where you can capture a boss enemy to drag back to a guild representative for extra items. Instead, the enemies will just directly drop those special items. That's FINE, I guess!
On top of there being 14 different job classes, there's essentially 3 different "games" in one here. There's the game where you're leveling up Life/job/classes, and then there's the story, and then there's Ginormosia. Ginormosia really is its own complete thing, where you have a huge open world to explore and level up and collect items, complete shrines, and find Koroks... well, they're not called Koroks here. But it's clear there's a Breath of the Wild influence here. Each area can be "leveled up" separately, to get stronger enemies and more rewards.
It really is brilliant how there's the three parts of the game, so that when you need a break from one, there's always something new you can do. I'm already 66 hours in, and I feel like I'm still just scratching the surface of what the game has to offer. I look forward to becoming a God in all 14 lives.

Crashlands 1 was one of the most long-lasting memorable games for me, and I am so happy to see a sequel released! I also appreciate that there is built-in cross-platform save syncing, so I can play on computer and iPhone without restarting progress.
The Butterscotch brothers have obviously put so much love and care into this game, the humor is top notch, the game systems are well-thought out. this is gonna be another game for the Must Play list for everyone.

Early Access Review
After 2 hours of playing (which most of which is idle waiting for things to gather enough resources) I've already earned all of the achievements in the game,
Developer claims to be asking for feedback, but then attacks you claiming that you've not actually played the game so you don't know what you're talking about. What??

There are so many bugs, and the interface is frustrating, and after that 2 hours of content there really aren't any goals to progress towards.
I am frustrated that I bought this. I'm frustrated that I'm just over the playtime preventing me from getting a refund.

This is an absolute classic game, and it is a shame that Ubisoft has teased a sequel for so long, and dangled any news of a sequel around constant re-releases of this game saying "Well maybe if this does well...". Stop trying to squeeze more money from the fans, and deliver a good new game, and everyone will be excited to spend money on the new game.

Anyway, this is a game that everyone should play. Simple as that.

I've been a big fan of Simogo ever since Device 6 on iPhone. Unique innovative and memorable gameplay has always been the core of what they provide. And Lorelei continues the trend.
I'm nearly finished with the game at this point. I've been playing with my girlfriend, and we both have our own perspective on certain puzzles, and remembering certain details, which has helped make things easier, to a point. The game still has frustrating parts, where we don't know how to proceed.
Sometimes, you need to take a step back and re-evaluate what information you currently have and what you are looking for, and how to reconceptualize the information in a different light.
The story within the game, and the story the story is telling, seems a bit pretentious, but I think that is intentional? But where does the "story" and the story differentiate? Whose eyes are we looking through?
All-in-all, I strongly recommend this game for any puzzle fan.

Ghost of Tsushima was my GOTY in 2020, and playing it on PS4 got me through much of the start of the pandemic.
The game is amazing, and is the peak of open world gaming.
Here we are in 2024, and it is finally available on Steam, and I can play it on my Steam Deck.
Holy cow, it is unbelievable how this game is able to run so perfectly on the Steam Deck. It looks absolutely gorgeous, and plays as I remember it on PS4.
There are some graphical artifacts, but it is minimal, and doesn't detract from how smooth the game runs otherwise. And it makes me excited to be able to get my gaming rig set up again to play this at 4K.

This is a game that any self-respecting gamer should own in their library.

While there are some puzzle types that I don't really care for, I do love the sheer variety that is offered here. It can be a bit overwhelming, but if you kind of focus on just the puzzles you like, then it becomes a bit easier.
I would like to see there be a way to make it easier to find puzzles that you might have missed from an area. The map is just so huge, that it would be super easy to overlook something.
Some puzzles feel a bit unfair, but other puzzles when you finally solve it, feels so satisfying.

I've been playing on Geforce NOW, and the game looks amazing. It's a shame the game doesn't run on any of my computers. Having a huge open world where 10,000 puzzles are all being displayed without loading screens, it's no wonder that no local computer can run it. Thankfully Geforce NOW makes it easy to play.
