Very cute game that requires minimal effort. Mostly just running around foraging for your next dinner party, and growing crops at the moment. Would love to see more seasonal content, character dialogue and interactions, and maybe smoke some of that hobbit leaf.

The frolicking is hilarious (a good hobbit is never in a rush) but I would like to be able to do a little hop over small obstacles so I don't always have to go the long way around just because of a slight terrain difference.

I like that they didn't use voice actors. for me personally I find voice lines can be too jarring, repetitive or sometimes I simply don't want to hear people speaking so I'm usually the person that has in game dialogue muted. I enjoy the little sound effects they make instead, it keeps it very relaxed.

Hopefully we get more seasonal content, like others I'm surprised we don't have a seasonal feast or a potluck. Also interesting choice for no romance options. Getting a spouse always seems to be a primary goal in cozy games and for it not to be included is almost a risky choice in the cozy community but so far I haven't minded much or noticed, There isn't enough time in the day to woo half of Bywater, I have fish to catch.

Received through a humble bundle. It's not much of a game, there are a few brief interactive parts where they let you put ingredients into a pot or bowl but it's mostly a slow story that you can't skip through.

Unfortunately, they seem to have been changing direction with how crafting and building works, which has made things a little less fun and engaging.
The NPC's don't have very much depth, and the new intro is quite long and unavoidable (And I don't think the Bogart has paid me a visit since.)
I like the overall layout of the map, and the addition of more foraging items but they don't feel very useful in the recipes.

I wouldn't enjoy it if I had just bought it in it's current state, but it's been a journey and I'm still interested in seeing where they're ultimately going with it.

Imagine the most dysfunctional and financially bereft spirit hunting team... you're on it. I really enjoy this game.

This game just eats up my entire life. I love how open world it is, and no two people can really have the same game experience.
