Honestly stay away.

The game is pure cash grab.
First of all AI slob.
After nearly 700h (some idle, some active a few times an hour) game time - only 15% of the achievements.
There are 3 mini games added in the later stages (a click meteor before it hits planet game, a click x times to mine ore game and a rotate paddle to catch radiation - so an inversion of the first mini game).
All to extend the game time artificially and shill pay2win packs.

And additionally the performance is atrocious.
It uses 10 times the resources (CPU+GPU) comparable Idler use.
The solution that tries to combat this is... turning of all animations in the options, which makes active play impossible and even then it doesn't even reduce the load by half.
So the code is probably also AI slob.

Game was fun until the update.
Broke existing saves and introduced too many game breaking bugs.
Could start over, but after nearly 250h I don't see the point.

Old review:
Fun little minimalistic factory builder.
Try it out if that's your jam.

Early Access Review
Usual Early Access warning: Only get this game if you think the development of this game will succeed.

For me I got burned too many times and for the amount of content coupled with the restrictive space of the map, it just isn't enough yet.
So gonna check in later. And I recommend you do the same.

Before the update the game was despite the microtransactions (main caveat - you have to buy every color you want to use for every item (weapons, descendant skins, ...) ) and the blatant sexism quite fun to play.

But the update added an event to skip content to the endgame and it bugged out and skipped ahead on its own. The support says they can't help me, so I would have to start a new account to play the main story.

And the game crashes 1-4 times per 3 hours (kinda inconsistent) now.
Also the support is utterly useless. They can't fix stuff, they are just a glorified parrot saying "Thank you for contacting us. Rest assured that we will forward your report to the Dev Team."

So keep away and check in later.

Well... get the game. It is fun. :)
Try to pick a goal you work towards when you start the game otherwise it can be very overwhelming as it has grown to a behemoth over the years.

Why the negative review?
Because they still haven't fixed the host migration problem, which exists since Beta.
The first person joining a mission or an open world area is hosting and should they have an unstable connection, you will lose progress.

If you are lucky it is only a 5min mission,
if you are unlucky it is a multiple hours survival mission or multiple bounties on an open world area or the one animal you finally got after hunting for hours or days.

There are multiple ways to mitigate the problem, even if it isn't coimpletely avoidable.
- sending the outstanding rewards in intervals to their server (okay, this needs probably additional infrastructure, because more traffic)
- having a copy of the game state on each client as fallback (simplest solution)
- changing the architecture from host-client to p2p (most complicated solution and probably not worth it)

That's my only grievance with the game, but it turned me away from the game multiple times, as it is frustrating. (But I guess I am a masochist. LUL )

Has a ton of problems

- 1st start bluescreened after Anti-Cheat install
- non-skippable tutorial (forced to learn how to shoot in an FPS)
- lobbies get filled with a majority of bots (guess not many play on a Saturday afternoon)
- if you have real players there is a cheating problem in 1 out of 3 matches
- predatory monetisation (Loot boxes, Skins, Addons, Stickers, multiple ingame currencies, dailies, quests. achievements, "guides", events, limited time sales, all very colorful, flashing & noisy)
- some of the art seems AI generated (some stickers, some cards)
- reviews could be botted (accounts which were inactive for 1+ years, only have 1 review and a few hours ingame are kinda suspicious)

The game was a fun dungeon runner with a fun equipment system before.
You could collect loot, merge it to get better
and dismantle stuff you don't need anymore and still get some of the stats.

Now you can only merge some stuff.
It isn't explaining which items and why you can merge them or why not.
The additional stats make the game much more complex,
so in coop you spend more looking at and shuffling items, than fighting and progressing.

It was fun while it lasted.
Honestly stay away from the game, while the devs try to figure out what this game wants to be.
This feels more like an Early Access game than a released one.

Like promised an updated review:
I got the game running, tho I have to either turn down the resolution to 1080p
or have to set the render scale to 0.7x, which makes the game a bit blurry.
Setting it to 0.5x gets rid of the blur, but now I run effectively at half the resolution.
But hey it is a indie game with a single dev, so let's cut them some slack.

On the topic of the dev, they respond to bug reports and put out patches quite fast, which is a good sign, especially in the day and age of abandoning games shortly after release.

To the game itself- it is a fun little casual game - floating around collecting trash and building your own little platform with simple factory.
Not really challenging, but something chill with the occasional easy fire fight.

So if you don't mind playing at a lower resolution, consider buying it.

Old review the devs replied to:
Sadly couldn't really play the game as it is choppy and unplayable with 10-15 FPS.
Despite being over the recommended specs, I get 100% GPU usage. CPU, RAM and I/O is fine.
Wrote a bug report and will see if it gets fixed before I have to refund it.

Will update the review, when I can actually play the game.

This is one of the "I would rate it neutral if it was an option" cases.

Generally it is a fun game, which I would recommend AFTER a few more updates/fixes.

Currently the balancing of costs and income is a bit off and you basically have to play the game a few hours to figure out what you are struggling with and then restart the game with custom difficulty to make up for the balancing.

For example:
Do you like to micro manage each docking process or would you prefer to turn down how much aligned you need to be to successfully dock?
Do you like to take breaks on your route to make sure your trucks systems won't give out in the middle of the road oder would you prefer to just drive?
How much of an impact should an impact with space trash have? (On default it can force you to save scum quite easily if you are strapped for cash.)

The other thing that annoys me is that you can take damage while being docked.
You are in the way of an delivery drone? Too bad, now your hull has a hole.
You docked in the middle of an electric storm? Better be fast while shopping or looking for a new haul before your systems get fried.

Like I said the game is fun, but all these minor annoyances and bugs make the game frustrating in the long run.
