Play it in the dark with the lights off and see how many times you can nearly crap your daks when those mutants and cannibals scream

Played a few hours so far, loving the game, it's very true to form of the the tabletop. Only downside being the weird DLC that you need to buy from both this game and TW: W1 to unlock certain units.

My gameplay record isn't up to date, because i had no internet access for almost a year and played only games that would work offline, including this one. So there should be a few hundred more hours listed there.

I love this game, i love the challenge of building a successful and thriving community. And it's something that initially seems very simple, but really is not. The first time i managed to reach 500 happy settlers i was ecstatic. It took me so long to get there. Once i got to 500 i got careless and somehow kicked off a cascading failure that led to the complete obliteration of my colony in about two decades of in game years.

Honestly, i have never once regretted buying this game. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a simple yet complex game to play.

Yeah sure this game has some GUI issues that could be addressed, but on the whole it's a fantastic job of representing Mordheim in all its glory.

Mordheim is a game where everything can go wrong in an instant. You might even win the battle only to discover in the after game rolls that your Leader died of his wounds and must be replaced with a fresh recruit. You'll slowly level up your heroes and henchmen, it is fantastic fun when you get into it. My favourite warband is a bunch of raggedy possessed mutants who are coloured like a circus and have a hilarious mismatch of mutations to boot.

I was levelling up a henchmen and buffing their leadership to prepare them to step up to the role of hero and grab a handy skill only to have them die on what would've been their culminating battle. I had a new mutant hero in another battle somehow get lucky and kill the most enemies and win the man ( or mutant ) of the match, he grew himself a new hand in the form of an axe. I named him Fred.

This is one of the most beautiful games i've ever played. It's most definitely a moving tale that makes you empathise with your antagonist.

It's a good dog bront.
