For newbies google "MTGA Free Codes" to get a ton of free cards and cosmetic items for free right at the start of your MTGA Journey!

Playing this since 2017 (pre-steam-release on their own client) - played many digital versions of MTG before, including Magic - The Gathering - BattleMage on PS1 (1996), also played a long time Offline - i can say, this game, MTGA, is the best digital implementation of the game ever. Also the Microtransactions are not there to win the game, yes you can buy all the cards in one go if you have enough money, but thats not how magic works - to win you will have to make a deck, or multiple decks, in the process of deckmaking you play, you lose, you refine the deck, you play again etc. until you are satisfied. If you play regulary, like an hour a day, you will quickly accumulate enough wildcards to make any deck you want, the Season-Pass isnt self-sufficient like in some other games, but its also not a greedy crashgrab - no one is forced to put money in this game to enjoy it - also the client is permanently worked on, there is MTGA-Exclusive features, its a big package you get to play for free without any monetarized barriers to rip you off, a rare business-strategy these days.

I can recommend this game without the slightest doubt, if you like the root-game of all TCGs (MTG was the first of them) but cannot afford to buy cards, or dont have ppl near you to play with or just like to play arround with new ideas without investing in cards MTGA ist absolutely the perfect game for you.

My Playtime is displayed as 57 Hours, while the actual time i played the game was maybe 15-20h, this is due to the unneccessary grind and the artifically blown up waiting times for crafting.

This game is not worth its price at its current state, dont buy it. its maybe worth 10-15€ with good will.
Why is that?
Well, i played Ark SE a couple thousand hours, same engine, same concept (if you abstract it to a degree), build base, grind for mats and xp, catch creatures, kill bosses etc. same engine as well.

In Palworld however, the base game is unbalanced and, with the default settings, consists much of grinding. Also there is no clustering between servers.

Hitboxes in this game are extremely weird what leads to frustrating situations, using Creatures to automate tasks is a very cool idea, but in reality it often does not work, assigning a creature to a specific task only works until its next break-time and then it forgets what it has to do, so the task you think is getting done while you explore is instead not done when you come home, many players are forced to circumvent this by using creatures with only 1 ability, but even then creatures often get stuck on top of base-buildings and then idle for the rest of their life until you redeploy them.

Creatures working at the base randomly break their legs or get ill, it has no further information on how that happened or how to prevent that, it just seems like a random event to bully the player, not a nice mechanic imho.

Overall the grind/reward ratio in Palworld is very unbalanced.
Also the graphical representations of many placeable items just feel not immersive, cant decribe it really, but they just dont not match the rest of the game.

The Pathfinding of enemies is very faulty, i was able to kill a boss by doing just 1dmg with my weapon, just by hiding behind one of the pillars in the arena and hitting it through the wall with the spear...

The game has a cool concept and i may give it a second try, but in the current state its a bit meh, feels not like early access, more like alpha or early beta.

This game is extremely nice, i bought it and instantly sunk in 400+ hours. If you like Facotrio and Satisfactory: this game is definitely for you. One thing i hope will improve in the future is the performance, and that there will be more endgamish items, but shifting the endgame farther from early game and filling the gap with appropriate content of games in this genre is something very very difficult, but what i have seen, i really think the devs are very competent and active, so it should be no problem.
Modding community could be somewhat more active (more mods) and the Blueprint Site really needs a Comment-Section for BPs and a separate Section for GalacticScale-BPs.

Love the game, keep up the good work!
