Mystery puzzle game with a twist! I really loved this little game and I hope they eventually come out with DLC because it's that great!

It's been awhile since I've been sucked into a good crafting/survival game and Icarus has me hooked. It's definitely difficult--especially when playing solo (I recommend finding a group of friends for the best play) but it has enough to keep you going. Huge Tech Tree and Skill Chart. I thought I'd dislike the idea of losing everything at the end of a prospect but I actually am enjoying the rebuilding and starting fresh each time. Prospects can last from 6 hours to 30 days so there's plenty of room for long missions if you so choose.

Wonderful surprise of a game! Super meditative and excellent if you just want to check out for a bit. Worth the 20$ and the subtle story told through the items tugs at the heart string.

I bought this game awhile ago and played it for a little bit before giving up on it. I picked it back up again yesterday and I haven't been able to put it down. It's definitely an accesible Dwarf Fortress with elements of Terraria. Really digging it. Oh look. I made a joke.

It's been a long time since I've fallen in love with an MMO. So many of them these days seem exactly the same and it's been hard to truly get excited about anything new. In that regard, The Secret World is a breath of fresh air. Based in a modern world, the storyline is captivating and the quests are really unlike any other. Sure there's the typical "kill this many of these" that you get with most games but that's to be expected. What really stands out are the investigative quests which actually require you to do your own research and problem solving. Character building is pretty interesting too although complex in the beginning. Once you understand how decks and synergy work with your talismans and weapons, it's actually wonderful. You have an extraordinary amount of options in how you want to play and it's rare that any two people will play their characters the exact same way. I can see that the learning curve is a bit of a turn off for most people starting out with this game, but if you stick with it, this game really is a gem. There's also a lot of special little surprises and references that show up that appeal to fans of nerdy culture. Unlike most MMOs this one actually works really well as a single player game but it is absolutely more fun when playing with a group.

I've been waiting so so long for this to finally be released and after hours and hours of playing tonight, I am not dissapoint. Still in Beta, ran into a couple of bugs but nothing horrible. There is so much content in this game. It's enormous. Although it looks a lot like Terraria, it plays more like Minecraft. Fantastic and will only get better before the actual release.
