Fun survival crafting game whether you're looking for a casual or hard experience. Excellent with friends.
It even has a mysterious story that keeps you pushing forwards and exploring further.

The first thing that hooked me was the games silly tone accompanied with jokes and pop culture references.

Second was the deep spell system. You can play it simple and throw fireballs or arcane lazer beams to eliminate your foes OR, if you are willing, you can spend some time learning and perfecting your skills to create complex and powerfull spells like walls of death that explode and kill everything in proximity, courtains of storms that slow and damage your enemies or speed yourself up, enchant yourself some nice and spiky ice armor and bull rush unsuspecting creatures.

This game is tons of fun but its even (up to) 4 times more fun with friends.
Between accidental teamwork or sudden friendly fire over a cool staff, you never know whats going to happen and its ALWAYS hilariously fun.

The campaign is decently long but if you find yourself craving more, youre in luck!
Magicka offers good and cheap DLC. Some of it even rivals the original campaign.
If your wallet has moths flying out of it you can always test your might in the arenas and meadows defending against increasingly difficult waves of enemies.

Now, as with all things, the game is not perfect.
The playerbase is small but it is also friendly and dedicated.
The game has a couple of bugs and the netcode isnt great. Many times the connection breaks and you and your partner in wizardry have to start the chapter all over again.

In conclusion: I highly recommend this game, especially, and i cant emphasize this enough, ESPECIALLY if you have friends to play with. Even with its faults this game earns the #1 spot on my list of favourite games.

Pretty hight price for a forgotten child of IW.
Game has no dedicated servers and instead they run on a players connection. Every match lags and host changes are frequent.
I still play it cause of the nostalgia.
