Yeah, it's a no from me chief. As good as the gameplay feels and as enjoyable as it is to play, there's too many negatives:

- Very little content, it's basically one big tutorial.
- The soundtrack is very underwhelming.
- The new season didn't add any new areas, just ramps into existing ones.
- Daily objectives can't be completed sometimes (bugs), even when you've bought the paid season pass.
- Too many game breaking bugs, including the co-op objectives not completing, and they're taking their sweet time to fix them.
- EA doesn't give two hoots how you feel about the game, they just want your wallet opened.

With that out of the way, the skating is fun, the tricks are cool and it's satisfying to come up with your own lines. If they fix the game I'd recommend playing it. Right now though, in it's current state? Nah.

Put simply: This isn't a game, it's a demo... and a pretty sh*t one at that.

Gameplay wise; the 'new' dribbling and defending is good in theory, but it's executed in a way that makes toddlers seem like professional footballers:

-No balance? Check.
-Can't receive or dribble the ball properly? Check.
-Can't pass more than 25 yards? Check.

Honestly, I've always given PES the edge over Fifa for it's gameplay, and I've played many PES titles over the years but this is the worst game they've released. The ball feels heavy, the players move erratically and it feels unpolished as a game generally.

Game mode variety just isn't there. They should've released the game with full functionality (Career Mode, Become A Legend, etc..) available as Paid DLC, maybe then the "free game" would make sense.

TL;DR: It feels like Konami took a big steamy dump all over their faithful PES community.

It's PES 'nuff said.

- Match starts, over the top, machine gun, die.
- Respawn in phosgene gas, die.
- Kill an enemy, sniper, die.
- Cower in trench? follow the french? Die.
- Die? Die.

10/10 best death simulator on Steam.
