This game is super fun! The hard part is getting enough friends/players. Anything 5 or over is clutch and worth playing.

The "friend pass" is an awesome concept as well.

I only get on periodically but the game is awesome fun besides all the controversy. If it's not one thing it's something else the community is up in arms about.

I would say yes but there are issues with the servers. I happen to get "Disconnected from Server" during half the matches (only playing coop). If that didn't happen I would say this would be a bargain buy at the price.

This is a fun little game made by a single dev! It reminds me of BF2142/Star Wars Battlefront (old). Each team controls a capital ship that has multiple cap ship sized turrets as well as hanger space for single seat fighters/bombers/support ships! The object is to destroy the other capship. You can do this by utilizing the capship turrets but also by small fighters and boarding the enemy ship and hitting it from the inside!

Multiple classes to select from from Officer, Marine, Engineer, as well as a few others. Each has its own perks. After selecting class you can change the loadout of your Capship and even whats in the hangers! You can change what turrets are available, defense and support systems, offensive weapons, and much more.

The capship bridge is where you control the turrets and offensive weapons (like torpedoes and robots that will board the enemy ship). You can have defensive robots. Hangers are on each side and house 2 ships each with a total of 8. From there there are mutliple rooms like the engine room, med bay, etc.

The dev is constantly updating the game and deploying bug fixes. They are also active in the steam forums. I would def recommend this game. The only downside at the moment is the player base unfortunately. The up-side is that the game is cheap enough to quickly catch on. It makes for a great coop or LAN game against friends as well. Stop waiting and pick it up today!

Stick Fight: The Game brings back memories of the early/mid 2000s stick fight flash animations. The game is super simple, dont need to know any combos, special attacks, etc. Just use the movement keys, left click to attack (towards cursor), right click to block/shield, and F to throw weapon. The games are pretty quick usually lasting about 30 seconds or so. There are 50 stages with about 10 or so different types of stages. There are multitude of weapon types that remind me of games like Diablo. This means if a weapon is green it'll shoot snakes, if ts red it'll have explosions, etc. So, you can have a green shotgun or even green rocket launcher! After most of the stages have been played you'll go through a "boss" stage. Whoever touches the floating object becomes a boss and gets random attacks. The other players have to defeat the boss. There is no recording of stats, only a crown on the player who won last round which is great. This game is super simple, super fast, and superbly fun!

Pro:
Simple - Just movement keys and 2 mouse buttons; no need to know combos etc
Fast - Each round usually lasts less than 30 seconds
Maps - Over 50 maps
Absurd - This game will have you laughing til you cry

Cons:
N/A - At time of writing review, couldn't think of any.

Fighting Score (against other fighting games): 4/5
This game pretty much has a fun factor higher than many other fighting games.

Fun: 5/5
Graphics: 4/5
Sound/Music: 3/5
Replayability: 5/5

Overall: 4/5

Wizard of Legend came to us via Kickstarter. Yes, I was a backer. Since its release, WoL has been a blessing and a curse. The game is hard (to me) but still fun. There is no "op" mobs or bosses. The levels are procedurally generated every time you play. The objective is to go through a tower to beat the final wizard. There are 2 levels before a main boss. Each level has a mini boss room. There are a total (so far, more are planned/in the pipeline already) 3 main bosses and then a final "Grand Wizard" that you have to face in order to get access to the best arcana/magic in the game. So far I have not beat it. Ive managed to get to the 3rd boss though.

Pros:
Replayability - Each game is different
Time - Games are short
Coop - Has local coop and PvP
Tough - Game is tough

Cons:
Coop - Only has local coop/PvP
Tough - Game is tough

Rogue Score (compared against other "rogue" games): 5/5
There are many like it but so far this game is at the top of my list for "Rogue" games.

Fun: 5/5
Graphics: 4/5
Sound/Music: 4/5
Replayability: 5/5

The sequel-prequel to the space RTS Homeworld. This game plays out mainly over a desert world. I haven't played the campaign any but I do have about 10 skirmish matches in (against AI). This is a pretty simple RTS much like its predecessors. You have to mine 2 types of resources. The "homebases" are giant mobile aircraft carriers. As of right now the game has 2 factions that are similar and then an additional 2 factions in DLC that are similar.

Pros:
Simple- Easy to get the hang of
Graphics- Superb

Cons:
Keys- Gonna need 3 arms to fully play this due to inability to change keybinds.

RTS SCORE (How it stacks up against other RTS's): 3/5
This goes right into the middle pool of RTS's. There is nothing super innovative but there are no real drawbacks either.

Fun: 4/5

Graphics: 5/5

Sound/Music: 4/5

Replayability: 4/5

Overall: 4/5

Alright, went into the game knowing it was brutal. It should be more like BRUTAL. I think I did about 10 runs or so. Out of the 10 runs I made it past the 3/4s mark (week 6/7) most of the time. I only beat the game once. The 1 time I did beat it I got 4 achievements. One for nobody dieing, one for not consuming any flesh, one for reaching Mars, and one for not taking any damage hull damager for 4 turns. So, yes this game is hard but that's the beauty of it. Youre in a spaceship and the crew has the worst luck imaginable. If this game was any easier it wouldn't be enjoyable. This game challenges you. It makes you pick the best of the worst things that can happen. It makes you actually manage. Forces you to pay attention to what you are doing.

So, with everything said I should point out that sure I lost 9 times and only wont once. That 1 win was memorable and highly enjoying though. I can't wait to unlock the other astronauts and try out the other planned content.
