Liked the story and the presentation a lot. The gameplay is fun too and getting to know the characters is exciting.

Only con for me is that once you play the game for quite some while and you get behind how the gameplay systems work, it can get a bit boring. But its alright and what the game costs and what it offers is great.

Early Access Review
Player here who didnt play too many ARPGs yet. Mainly Sacred and Diablo 4. Just so you know where im coming from. I will update this review from time to time when new stuff is added / patched.

0.1:
Lots of fun. Overwhelming in the beginning but builds from other people make it more manageable. Played warrior first, then lightning arrow ranger. Warrior was great for campaign, in the endgame the ranger shined and was lots of fun. Endgame was fun to a degree but it gets boring at some point. The campaing was awesome though. Fun to get through, bosses were hard but rewarding to beat.

Review: Positive

0.2:
This time its different. Campagin is an absolute slog, i always struggled and felt like barely getting by. Dont get me wrong, i dont expect to zoom through content with level 10. But its also not fun to get swarmed by white mobs and getting obliteraded. Luckily i played necromancer lich by coincidence which turned out to be quite strong this season. But yeah, campaign was not fun this time.

However the improvements to endgame were great. Lesser number of towers, but more effect. Corrupted nexus where you get atlas points. The improvements are great and i hope GGG keeps building on that.

The leage mechanic, wisps is absolute trash though. Nice idea executed poorly. In campaignyou are weak and must be careful but to do wisps you have to hurry up. Too slow, and the wisp is lost. Feels like a league mechanic someone designed for POE1 but accidentally pushed it to POE2.

However, though some aspectes of 0.2 are improvements, overall the game is less fun and addicting. Also i dont agree how GGG treats these patches. Basically they are leagues and once people have their builds, they are afraid to do balance changes. Which sucks, this game is in early access (kinda) but is treated like its finished. Theres lots of balancing to do. It feels like they rather do one big balance change every season, rather thant iterate quickly and change balance often. Yes its frustrating when your build doesnt work, but its early access andi would rather have balance changes every few days rather than wait months before the next big patch.

Review: negative

0.4: Starte playing again with Plants of Varashta Build and it was a lot of fun. Did the temple with friends, took a lot of work and felt rewarding. Now they midseason nerfed it and yeah. Its dead. Who already has a massive temple is fine, who doenst, does not really need to build a new temple yet. Economy is completely busted, people who play 24/7 still print high tier currency and mapping for normal players feels...ugh.

Completely fine to patch exploits and busted mechanics at the start of a season. 2-3 weeks in though sucks

Review: initially positive, but again negative

UPDATE: After lots of complaints GGG reverted a change in the mechanic of the temple. Thank god

Fun game, bad UI and other annoying things. It could be better but no one cares.
EG inviting is dumb and unnecessarily complicated.

Searching for an issue regarding that i found a reddit thread 8 months ago with the exact same problem.

Not fixed until today. Considering how ubisoft is doing i feel like they put in minimal effort here with the hope of sucking every penny out of the game if possible.

Super Coop Game. Schneller als It Takes Two aber absolut empfehlenswert.

Great graphics, great atmosphere, great STALKER feeling but it released in an unfinished state with bugs and performance issues galore.

Mind you, it ran okay for me, but still.

Whats positive: The first updates definetly fixed a lot of stuff. Not so great: Releasing the game with promised features such as A-life which is bugged (or unfinished? scrapped?) and yeah...

Not as bad of a release like CP2077 but also not a good release.

I am very positive it will turn out to be a great game in the future after bugs are fixed and its finished. Until then, avoid unless you are really craving the STALKER feeling.

Update:
The last 2 updates improved it by a lot. If you wait you will get a good game with nice mod support but even now, it is very atmospheric and i like the game a lot.

I will wait for further upcoming patches and update my review once i can play the game in a finished state.

Update 2:
Played through 75 of the game. Its fun. Its atmospheric. But performance issues and memory leaks take out all the fun lots of times. For me the fix is to restart the game entirely. which wouldnt be as big as a deal if the stuttering wouldnt return randomly or after 5 minutes and reaching a new place.

Thats the only issue i have and its been popping up more and more the further i get in the game. Besides that, performance is good.

Update 3:
Turning off DLSS frame generation fixed it and now i completed the game.

Well, what can i say:
- It launched in a horrendous state.
- It will take a bit until it is finished on a technical level and the rough edges are smoothed out
- Its a stalker game. Its awesome. I love the setting, the story and the ending(s).

If you are not too eager, wait until more patches arrive. But no matter if you wait or not, play it. Its a great game

Starts as a chill game, develops into a not-so-chill game with you trying to get better, increase stats, get stronger etc.

Honestly, for the price its sold for: Absolutely worth it if you like this kind of games.

I was done after around 4 hours

Warum? Macht keinen Sinn, man will ja Ihnen helfen aber dann hätte man nix zu tun also greifen die einen halt an.

Performance:
