first 5 hours: haha this game is so addicting!

100 hours: Nothing is left. All that lies here is agony and the Void, twisted and stitched into an amalgam of a vile, roaring emptiness. Struggle within struggle within struggle, in a factorial fractal of endless suffering with no volume or meaning, beckoning for another hour, day, another year more to live and to equally die. No matter how hard I try, whether attempting a static complacency or chasing an escape from madness, I am always led back to the heart of this retched Void. Nothing is sacred anymore. Nothing is left.

200 hours: this game lowkey boring asf

All of the cosmetics are named in lower-case letters in game, which is very jarring. Cool visor though

One of the best climbing games I've played in recent memory, White Knuckle is a beautifully crafted little game so immersive that even I got a little motion sick when looking down. The atmosphere is so precisely put together that you feel like you're climbing, you feel your palms sweaty and your fingers shaking when you are so close to that next ledge.

The game is uniquely very friendly towards techs of all kinds. You learn a lot as you play the game, and theres so much to explore in the expansive campaign that you can spend hours at a time and still feel like coming back for more. Perhaps niche, and quite a bit more difficult for casual-intermediate players like myself, but ever since I picked up the demo before release, I fell in love.

The game is still receiving updates, expanding the sheer volume of climbing the campaign has to offer, and overall I'd recommend anyone pick it up if they're up to the challenge. 9/10 game.

Nominate for Steam Innovative Gameplay award please, this game is such a breath of fresh air and innovation. I wish I could play it more often, because I know I haven't seen all of what it has to offer.

The first Dadish was heaps of fun, and though Dadish 2 was essentially a copy of the first game with different level design, it was still a tough yet relaxing game with colorful visuals. It was a simple continuation, and that makes it a worthy successor to me. Dadish 3, however, was a bust for me. More funny interactions, recycled spritework, but now with even more boring levels and mechanics that make the game feel unbelievably sluggish.
Most of the new mechanics are either slow versions of old mechanics with a new coat of paint, or are overused and just make every level significantly longer. Every level feels so much longer and less fun because the game isn't about precision anymore. Every level feels like it's comprised of the same waiting for this platform to move, wait for the water to rise high enough, wait for this enemy to walk away, ect, repeat. This is especially true for the sewage world, where everything is about waiting, waiting, waiting. Not to mention a distinct lack of checkpoints in many levels.
The first two Dadish games were somewhat difficult because they were precise and fast paced. This game was just difficult to sit through, because half the time, that is ALL YOU DO. Sit and wait. The splashes of color and the distinct Dadish charm can't save the lack of quick, precise, action-packed platforming.

If you liked the first two games, and you just wish you could get more, this isn't really going to itch that scratch unless you are inherently super patient. This isn't some terrible standalone game, but it most certainly doesn't compare to its ancestors. If you wanted a fresh take on the Dadish formula, I'd recommend Dadish 3D, which got me quite addicted, start to finish.

An actually incredible game with a perfectly comical, yet very provocative and intriguing story laced with messages about depression, loneliness, responsibility, and self acceptance. There's a point halfway through the story that you slowly start to forget the alarming number of willies on your screen, despite every character being a sentient wing-wong with a visible rear-hole. if you pay attention, you can get incredibly invested in the tragic and dramatic story of John.

The co-op, while not as intriguing and stimulating as the story, is incredibly intuitive. Most interfaces and settings utilize the "Put it on the Grid" philosophy, which means that options for the game are directly interacted with using your weiner. As in the character on screen. This really helps immerse the player without over-complicating or underwhelming them, so that they can play with up to 7 friends, local and/or online at the same time, instantly, while being able to soak in the bizarre nature of the visuals on their screen. There's no complex set up, you get in the game with friends, and it's off to the races. It's a mixture of engaging gameplay and complementarily peculiar and unorthodox visuals, making the game both extremely confusing, strangely paranormal, supernaturally addictive, and most of all, better with friends.

It's difficult to explain why this game is good. Especially when it is based off of a naturally hush topic and aims to challenge such as a social norm. But, if you want new and exciting, (one way or another,) then give it a try. When it's on sale, get it for your friends. They may be freaked out by the idea of sentient johnsons wiggling about in an up-to-8-player multiplayer experience, even being able to bear witness to the chaos, but I say that you should just play it for a couple minutes before refunding it. It's not for everyone, but giving it a try is at least going to be amusing. And if you enjoyed the bit you played, chances are you didn't play enough. Because if you did play enough, you would love it.

A genuine and fun experience that deserved the amount of hype it got on release. The goal's very simple. Go fish.

There's fun side things you can do, but there's no end goal. You just want to fish. Improve your fishing equipment, catch new fish, fill out your fishing journal, fish with friends, but that's just... fishing.

It's a simple game, but there's no reason not to buy it. Get your friends a copy too, so that they have no choice but to play with you. They won't stop once they've started.

As an introduction to the Worms Franchise, (though it's already dead) Worms W.M.D. is great, but note that it is far different from anything else in the franchise
The crafting mechanics and vehicles are a large part of W.M.D., and were never in the older games.

For a more classic Worms feel, Armageddon is the best pick, as some might say it's the best game in the franchise. However, as a chaotic game of massive destruction and complex strategy, W.M.D. is a great pick for those who thought the older games were too slow.

Be warned, however, because it still is a Worms game, and it can feel unbearably slow at times.

A simple game that can change dramatically from one round to another, as the game understands how players naturally use its variety of unique weapons and combinations of said weapons, and reflects such in its level design.

Generally a good game, but there's a reason why this game is so incredibly dead. The design is almost too simple, as the game itself presents no real visual appeal. It uses simple colors on simple shapes, and rolls with this idea everywhere. From the menus, to the levels, and even to the characters themselves, being just squares.

While the weapons are fun, and experimenting with combinations can be satisfying, the game play becomes dull and repetitive. There's no real ways that certain weapons complement others in a way that you would really want to try out different combos. The only thing that changes is that you have to adapt to the new weapons you want to use.

While I can't say this game is bad, there's simply better to look towards in the Landfall Franchise, that all improve on this physics based arena style that they are so famous for. Stickfight and Rounds have a similar game play, and while they make use of different mechanics, the mechanics that they use don't get old so quickly.

Juice Galaxy is a great game that deserves more attention. Made by a small developer, yet presents so much potential in such inexplicable ways.

The combat system is the biggest thing i can point to being so charming. Throughout my first look at Juice Galaxy, it was confusing and odd. It seemed almost impossible to properly fight, but as time went on I found that the combat was based on a rhythm. Swing your weapon back and forth, and how much damage you do is defined by momentum. How hard you hit is based quite literally on how hard your flabby arms can swing that giant cartoon-ish sword and hit the stupid blob with legs. This is a new idea I had never seen before, and further into the game I appreciated it more and more, because I LOVE new ideas.

Games that invent new methods to pull you in, or make you experience something, in a brand new way. They tickle a little funny bone in me that just... I love them. New ideas are just not as common as they used to be. There's a sort of novelty with new ideas that I don't see enough people praising. And when I think of new ideas, I think of Juice Galaxy, a game that took a unique visual style and melded it with combat mechanics to create a masterpiece, or possibly an abomination, depending on how much you enjoyed the game.

Play Juice Galaxy. It looks weird. It will feel weird when you play it. Don't care. You need to try new things like Juice Galaxy. This game deserves proper appraisal, (and though this may be a bit much..) I believe that this early-access project will become something incredible. So play Juice Galaxy.
