Epic 10/10

Very well executed launch. Solid game. Simple and clean.

Feels very much like a 'light' FS title ('light' by no means negative, but positive in some ways):

- I like the slight linearity of the game where you're not spending excessive amounts of time back tracking or getting lost when progressing or revisiting older areas. You also don't need any guides if you want to capture all the lore in the game. This means, 3 playthroughs for the various endings (including all side quests and lore) is something I like forward to since it's relatively straightforward.

- Consumables are more manageable and reward players when used. I felt like when I was playing FS titles, I tend to hoard all discoverable items that I never used the entire game.

- Parry system adds an extra level of difficulty and reward players for perfect timing of a guard rather than spamming block or rolling (high risk, high reward)

- Stagger animations, sound and visual effects look and sound great

- Pulse cell (healing flask) recovery mechanism is a nice push-your-luck mechanism

- Very minimal BS traps that are impossible to predict

- With the level design and layout - small enemies are much more forgiving, Mini bosses are easily handled with limited move-sets, and bosses are difficult.

Overall, I'm having an awesome time casually playing this game 20 hours in. Kudos to NEOWIZ for a very successful launch and solid game.

Terrible digital adaptation of the boardgame. Too many game-breaking bugs that have been an issue for as long as the game was released.
