Got more than 10,000 hrs in arpgs, mainly D2. Played about 1.5k hrs of PoE over few years. Loved it, still love it but ♥♥♥♥ got more complicated with every new patch. This game is blatantly made by nerds complaining about the lack of quality of life features in mainstream arpgs. Pure fking balance. 5 skill trees+idols are literally enough for versatility. Sure, early access was obviously not complete (Still way better endgame than D4), but endgame farming is more fun than in PoE, especially if you're targeting a specific item. It's like the rewarding sensation of 2004 games, fk I missed this feeling.
TL;DR: If you find D4 disgusting, and you find it hard to keep up with PoE mechanics, this is the game for you.
They even fixed the Primalist's and Acolyte's facial expressions on release, those actually looked moronic in early access. gj
