An unique mix of a city builder in short scenarios in a roguelike challenge setting. Most likely worthwhile to try out, even if city builders are not your usual thing. Highly addictive and filled with great design choices that are hard to come by in other games.

If you're not off-put by the retro graphics (which are fine in their own category), this could be easily one of the best <15€/$ purchases of your life. Incredibly nuanced little farm sim/semi-RPG by a single dev, with a later-on added co-op multiplayer: a cute and addicting pristine indie gem.

I loved HOMM 3 as a kid, and liked also HOMM 5 as an adolescent. But now this:

"Notice: The online multiplayer services for this title are shut down but single-player features will remain available. Any in-game News and player stats services will be shut down.

For more info, check out the Ubisoft forums"

We bought this game in order to be able to play MP with a friend a decent while ago. Thanks for retiring the multiplayer, Ubisoft being Ubisoft. And FYI I can't meddle with Hamachi because of my computer setup being in a private internal network. Not like you could allow direct IP connection or anything, no - has to go through ubi.com, but it flips the middle finger while smacking a "BUY HOMM7 FOR 40€ LOL" pamphlet on my face.

I've loved this game since the mid-90s. The fact that its development and community is still going strong should tell of its cult status among roguelikes.

This game influenced my childhood vastly. Hell, this game WAS my youth. It's a skill intensive 2d-shooter, one of the very first popular internet games. After its developer went down under, the community picked up the scraps of the commercial game and especially the estonian volunteer PriitK took over development and made the game into the excellent freeware game that it today is by making a new client. This gives you a glimpse of the kind of community the game has had over the years. I see all of this as a prelude into the eSports scene that today prospers in other games.
