Early Access Review
The questionable stuff:
-`✮´- ︎Some camera-angles in boss fights and while platforming are just silly and unintuitive.
-`✮´- ︎Don't wanna wait in real-time to process resources that I already spent an hour collecting.
-`✮´- ︎The VFX is way too loud when playing magic / bow builds, and you can't turn them off during coop, which means I'm met with annoying instances where I can't even see what's happening right in front of me if my friends are casting spells.

Why I still recommend this game:
Everything else about the game though, is absolute LOVE. The artstyle, animations, gameplay progression, story and reward system felt more than adequate and super engaging. It has also been fun to explore the map, I've been really enjoying the level design and can't wait to try other builds already! The difficulty of the game also feels like it's at a sweet spot (for me).

Please add more content and passion to the later parts of the game as well. Please focus on QOL. Pleaaase make it one of the best games I ever played. You still have time, Moon Studios!

I read the description and expected some parts to be made using AI, but nope, almost all aspects of the game are made with AI. It's similar to consuming AI slop videos, only worse, because you look at the same level on loop in a game like this.

The game scratches that cooking-game itch pretty well. If you can consume this amount of low-effort AI work without feeling icky about it, go for it. This just wasn't for me; I couldn't take it anymore.

I'm genuinely scratching my head at some of these reviews. I wonder if some of y'all even know what this game is about.

This DLC is a massive step up and feels like this map is what Nightreign should have been in the first place. The world is so 3D, you don't just have to move linearly from one camp to another anymore. This is the verticality that feels complex and intentional. It's beautiful!

The quests are even better designed and better scattered around the map. You're forced to think, prioritize and have a plan. The 2 new characters are also ridiculously interesting. The game asks you to use the resources around the map and it's still up to you how you face each night.

I hope there's another DLC. I hope they double-down on this verticality. I hope this game gives birth to its own genre. I already crave to see more of this. Cheers!
