Anniversary is an absolute mess. For one the rewards are absolutely trash with incredibly predatory banners (banners are things you use limited currency on to get limited characters) where they are running the most hyped character of the entire games life cycle right after the only character that is considered essential to have, all alongside every character and their special weapons (signatures).

That's not the only problem the anniversary brings though. It also brings a limited character named Zani, who needs another limited character to function properly. Obviously support characters that are dedicated to a specific character should amplify that character more than others otherwise they couldn’t sell, but we're looking at a massive damage drop if you don’t obtain Zani’s best in slot character. This is also prevalent in another dps character (Aero Rover), who needs a character who will be available to obtain right after Zani’s banner to function properly at all.

Before this debacle, I would consider Wuthering Waves a great game heading in a great direction, but with all these predatory practices being implemented, I'm not too sure about that anymore. I will take this review down when the developers decide to fix the rewards and the characters I mentioned before.

I love it, good optimization, really fun gameplay, feels like Helldivers 2 tbh, I know it's a mmo game that's either pay to progress or get for free something in a long time, I'm not mad or disappointed since the game is overall fun to play and not boring like many other mmos
