It's pretty good.
It gets better when you're done with Tier 3/4.
Absolutely better with friends.

Parachute best item.

It's exactly what I expected, DayZ in a standalone edition.
It's not DayZ Epoch. It's not Origins. It's not Breaking Point. It's not 2017.

It is what the developer intended, a hardcore survival game, with emphasis on survival. It's not particularly hard, just time consuming to learn the game mechanics, the map, the loot spawns, the hotspots, etc.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the original DayZ mod.

Gameplay is actually pretty decent for a free to play game. But the rest of the game is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥.

Example:
Tried to play it with a buddy. When we were not in a squad, we could both press "Play" and it would attempt to find a match for you. It didn't find any matches, but it started the process.

But, when we were actually in a squad, the play/ready button were greyed out. For no obvious reason, and there were no information anywhere as to why this was happening.

So the devs can take this game and shove it up their ass.

Alright, I feel like I should write a review for this game, as it's closing up to the game I've played the most.

In short: It's brilliant.

Though for those of you that require longer explanations with a more evolved vocabulary, this game encorporates the essence of military simulation. It manages to merge the different military styles (e.g. Air, Land, Sea) and allows players to create their own chain of command in the game, on the go. It's completely up to the players themselves! Which brings me to another point. The vanilla content in the game is so-so, but the game is delivered with a fully functioning 3D editor, which allows you to create custom missions or gamemodes for you and your (potentially non-existent) friends to enjoy.

Edit: Yep, still my favorite game.

Edit2: Edited for the awards. Fite me.

Edit3: Another award edit, its still a great game. Looking forward to ArmA 4.

It's like Dwarf Fortress had sex with Terraria and they had a child, and the child mated with Dungeon Keeper and they had a child.

The perfect upgrade from Diablo 2, I think Diablo 3 could have learned a thing or two from this.
