This card game is like Hearthstone on steroids.

You'll spend your turn setting up the board with an army of hot anime girls/guys, only for the opponent to wipe them all out in the very next turn, then set their own board. Rinse and repeat until one of you run out good cards to play, and witness as that poor sod's health nose-dive from a healthy 15 straight down to 0.

For some, it can be frustrating, because a single unoptimized play or bad mulligan can seal your fate. But for me, it's pretty exhilarating seeing the tide turning every 20 seconds. It flips a lot of common archetypes like aggro and controls decks and gives them a new look.

I'll also corroborate that the economy in this game is not so bad. The base daily amount is low, but there are events, lobby missions and tournaments to supplement your income, especially if you want to put in some time. I've only spent $2 for the 10-pack starter bundle, and I have 3 decks built, complete with all the necessary legendaries in about 2 weeks.

Contrary to popular comments, this game had given me massive emotional support. If you do even a little well, your opponent would cry, shid and/or fard about it. I have witnessed the bottom of the barrel for the human psyche, and my self esteem was hugely improved. If even Brawlhalla players can find the will and confidence to live bravely in this world, I should stand to think higher about myself too.
