Was not expecting to be this involved in space trucking lol

I really enjoy this game. I understand the frustrations people have by hyping up the space travel in the game. However, if you'd like a space travel sim, play Elite Dangerous or No Man's Sky. I can say the space battles in this game are quite fun with the right perks.

I can see what Bethesda was trying to do by focusing on the story, but sometimes it falls flat. I believe Bethesda was trying to a give a combination of Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 game-play. But, again sometimes it falls flat. The combat system is interesting but I would have like to see a VATS system integrated.

Some of the missions are the typical go here, talk to this person, grab that, and go back, which is pretty annoying at times. Some missions do offer a refreshing change to the typical fetch quest repetitiveness.

There are some graphic issues even with my 2080 Super. It does bug me that sometimes when you initiate conversation the lip movements don't match up with the dialogue. It still isn't fixed but I'm sure they will eventually.

Overall, I would wait for a sale to buy this game. It has a lot of potential to be a great game and it did not have the issues that Cyperpunk 2077 had when that came out. I still have fun playing the game and take it for what it is. Hopefully with future updates this game will be amazing!

This game is really relaxing and a good game to just start up after a hard day at work.

Very fun and unique

This is probably my first actually review of a game lol.

Overall 8/10

The story is great, it's refreshing how they used separate characters but stayed within the same universe/style of Not Tonight. I had a lot of fun playing this game and it was an amazing sequel to the first. Also, the soundtrack is way better than the first. The music goes along great with the venues you work in. Very minimal bugs, which is nice. I love playing games that are made by small developers and are done well. This game was extremely fun, with new and interesting challenges. Btw Dave is starting to grow on me.

However, there are a few reasons that it's not a 10/10. I am not a fan how they took away customization. There is minimal customization to your character. Being that this is more of story driven game, I understand which is not a huge issue. I did miss not having an apartment to upgrade to take care of and so on. The one thing that really turned me off was when you hit the last road trip portion of the game. I understand the political satire of the Not Tonight universe (which is hilarious) which led me to buy this game. The first two road trips had a clear mission, and came along some awkward and funny situations that involved political satire. The last road trip, seemed to try harder on getting a political point across rather than being satire. It was over-the-top, to the point where it was not funny and straight bashing. The writer of that road trip makes it clear that they are extremely "left wing" and feminist. In the future I would like to see the political satire continue but staying within satire format. I play video games to have fun and to escape reality, not to live in it.

This game right now is pretty fun! I can't wait till the full release and future updates that make the game have more depth.
