Early Access Review
As someone who looks for blacksmithing in games a lot, this game appeals to me. It's really fun, and easy to get sucked into if you enjoy management games. It's very simple and straightforward, to the point where some of the progression stages don't really make the most sense (for example, you unlock copper after iron), but it still feels natural enough for the flow of the game. It's not super challenging, but instead very zen, and you are as involved as you want to be. You can even take control of your blacksmiths and do some of the work yourself if you want. The customization is vast, with a decent selection of wall/floor designs you can unlock as you play, and you can shape your building however you want. I recommend playing this with the heisei Spice & Wolf anime OST playing over it.

One of the best roguelikes I've ever played. Obviously, best played with a full party of friends. My GotY.

This is the first game I have clocked 100+ hours into within a month of owning it. Replayability is insane, modding community (and workshop too) is amazing, and it’s super lightweight. It’s one of like 3 games I can reliably play on my laptop when I’m out of town. It’s also full of insurmountable and irreversible bs that makes me want to stop playing, but it’s still so easy to come back to and start over.

The music is incredible, the DLC is amazing, and the amount of personalization (whether in or out of your control) is phenomenal. Each character in your “story” is someone to get attached to, you can become immersed in their day to day lives, feel excited when they find love, dread when they die, etc.

I will say that the price does run a bit high even on sale, but given its reputation and the mileage I have gotten from it, it’s not really a complaint of mine. I do wish that the game had native multiplayer support, since it currently relies on mods for that.

9/10, extremely addicting and fun, my kind of game in all regards. Not perfect, as no game is, but very little to complain about for a storytelling management sim.

Recommendation: Play Yume Nikki first (it's free on Steam), and maybe also Undertale. Both are very short.

This game expresses every emotion imaginable in a really cool psychological way. It's also an absolute love letter to Yume Nikki. The mixture of horror elements in the game truly present themselves in ways you wouldn't ever expect and at times you wouldn't expect. Sometimes it's very easy to forget it's a psychological horror game, which is a sin that never goes unpunished.

This game gave me dreams. A psych horror game that gives you dreams has done its job well.

Great art direction, great story, great soundtrack. 9/10.

Honestly one of the most feel-good rhythm games I've ever played. It's free, so give it a try.

If you like Mario Party but don't want to dedicate 2 hours to a game, this is a great alternative. For $6 (on sale) you can get a 4-pack, absolutely worth it. The game also still gets love and support from the devs. Every DLC is like $2 and even less when on sale, most DLCs are 2-pack character unlocks. Great game, 9/10
