Owners of the original game are left in the dust and have to pay for the new edition for bug fixes and QOL updates? Yes, you get additional content/DLC with the relaunched edition, but to abandon this version that I already payed for and expect me to pay for it again with a pitiful discount is wrong, unethical, and should be illegal. Greedy publisher kills another beloved game.

Chasing the dragon that is Fortnite style MTX, adding licensed cartoon characters in an attempt to chase industry trends waters down the very little left that made this game unique. First Battlefield, now COD - these franchises just need to die and devs need to move onto making something new and fresh.

It's funish when the bugs and balance issues aren't ruining the experience. It'd give it a 6/10, but being a fan of the series since BF1942 it's barely a 3/10. The one redeeming things was Portal, and barely. It's fun to revisit the old classics with new graphics and engine, BUT those features only have like 25% of the original game content. Even with the Portal content, this game has LESS weapons, vehicles, and maps compared to past games. It's obvious they're holding back content for MTX and season passes. Speaking of which - specialists are so BS. They don't add any value to the experience or game play other than to sell MTX. Such a shame. This game is trying so hard to be COD but fails to recognize that people want to play Battlefield because it ISN'T Call of Duty.

Fun mix of gameplay, good Star Wars story. NO MICROTRANSACTIONS AT THE TIME OF THIS REVIEW.

You get a full game from the get-go; no microtransaction BS. It offers great mil-sim gameplay. If you loved the old Project Reality mods, you'll love this game.
