there are a lot of mobile games i remember playing that have basically been forgotten. i remember playing weird games that never got a cult following or a lot of attention like pizza vs skeletons, roar rampage, and zombie farm. this is one of those games that lives rent free in the back of my mind. it used to be called i am vegend on the ios app store, but as far as i can tell it one day just disappeared. then out of no where, it was replaced by zombie harvest. zombie harvest is the same game, except the levels are formatted a bit differently, and i think thats the only change. this steam version (which is also on itch.io for some reason) is the only remaining version of i am vegend that can be bought.

like other reviews have said, you can tell this was meant to be a mobile game. the description for the game mentions being a mobile game, but actually playing the game really makes you understand that. the shop is still crazy expensive, but this version has no microtransactions, so youre forced to grind to get coins. there is also audio options, but it just mutes the entire game, something most mobile games from 2010-2015 did for some reason. everything about this weird port is honestly baffling but pretty fun if you go into it expecting a mobile game ported to pc.

i remember playing it when it came out, and it was trying to ride the wave of plants vs zombies and its popularity, but it accidentally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in the process and made the most unique "clone" of a game that ive ever played. theres zombie pigs, fatass birds, gorillas, zombie napoleon, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ michael jackson of all people whos called wackson and uses an actual clip of him making noises, and for some reason dracula is in here too. its just crazy, i have no clue why they would choose to make a game like this but they did it anyway and its honestly the best shovelware ive played

i like the game a good bit. it can be frustrating but also enjoyable, and other than some performance issues with my less than stellar hardware, it runs fine. however, even though i like the game and would recommend it, i am not a fan of the upcoming tweaks. a lot of people call it censorship, i don't really think its that extreme, but i still don't support it at all. many console games have the things that they're changing in it, and going by the mostly negative recent reviews, they're just shooting themselves in the foot with all of this in terms of their public image. if i was in void's shoes, i would just let players toggle changes like nudity
