Bought Helldivers 2 on release and is still easily one of my go-to co-op shooters next to games like L4D2 and Deep Rock Galactic. Gameplay is very solid with a plethora of weapons and stratagems to face off against alien tyranny. From the hardcore and tactical to the downright goofy, each mission can be tailored to fit whatever kind of style or function you want.

A beautiful, buggy, jank-filled journey eastward through former Soviet states with your uncle and your sedan of questionable reliability would sound right up some peoples alleys and it is for the first couple hours playing. It's only with more time that you begin to see how hollow the game actually is and how what a good game could have been ultimately ended up being a massive disappointment. The locales, while charming and atmospheric, are very one dimensional. There's little (but more often never) any reward for searching off the beaten path and discovering points of interest, the game is constantly needing to restart the day cuz the game won't allow you to interact with anything from time to time, the story isn't that strong, and the only character you really get to know is your uncle and even he isn't that likable (though perhaps that was by design). There's just not enough here to keep me engaged and it leaves me wanting more for my time.

Like Jalopy itself, it's a solid skeleton held together by bungled components and spare parts. By now, there are other offerings that do what Jalopy does but better and I'm saddened this game didn't turn out like I had initially hoped. If you do insist on getting this game you should get it on sale for a steep discount if possible simply because it isn't worth the money at full or even half price.

DINAO is one of those games that looks like it's gonna be a nice relaxing time building your city, gathering resources, expanding, upgrading, researching, clearing the map of enemies and it is that way for about 80% of playtime. Then for 20% you're scrambling to try and fortify your base, churning out ranged units, casting spells, and praying that your walls are gonna hold long enough to survive until the next wave. Even on the easier difficulties the game can prove to be rather challenging and can often have you reverting a save so you can try a different build order. The game does pressure you to keep up with its pace since falling behind can mean you simply get crushed the next time an attack rolls your way. If you like games that keep you on your toes and like the idea of defending against endless hordes of enemies at a time, this is a really solid option, no diplomacy required.

A very pre-alpha demo with very little meat to sink your teeth into. It's rather short and can be finished under an hour. Seems like it could be cool but right now there's just simply not enough to keep me invested.

Got this game for pretty cheap and managed to finish it within a couple of hours. Puzzles are very well done and fun as well as being relaxing and creative. Very short and sweet if you're simply looking to pass the time.

I want to like this game but unless you like keeping track of everything happening with the various number of different status effects you accumulate throughout the run up to potentially losing your run to an effect you forgot to/couldn't account for ruining your run I can't say I recommend this game
