I once built myself a super-vehicle by attaching wood platforms, gun racks, and crates on a small white snow mobile. It was basically my super fortress on wheels.
Then the zombies broke it while I was trying to airlift it away with a skycrane helicopter.

I spent the whole afternoon dying multiple times trying to rebuild it.

Good times

Not gonna lie, at first I thought "oh, it's just a 2D game, it'll probably be very limited"...
And then I actually played it and was like what the hecc this is bloody damn amazing.
Now I see why my siblings were so hooked on it for so many years.

Why can't all games have devs like these??

The community around it is way more friendlier than I expected too. I've been enjoying posting stuff over on the community workshop and I mostly get a warm reception even on the stuff I'm not as proud of. I even got developer's choice on one of them!
I didn't expect modding for a game could be this fun. It makes me want to do more

but it looks like steam thought ahead and decided for me

Jokes aside, it's a pretty solid game;
Wide array of guns, pretty balanced difficulty, and a well-optimized great level of graphics that even a potato like my laptop can run.
Looks like steam workshop doesn't actually work for it anymore though.

I might have gotten it for free, but I guess it's still worth its "dosh"
