I do love the game so far, the combat mechanic is one of the best ones Ive seen.
But to see all negative reviews I have to agree on a couple of things, I do think Klei will make the game better and more optimized in term of grinding and the feeling of "slow progression", I cant wait to see this game once its released

PSA, you can no longer make an account to access the online gallery. Makes the game borderline pointless

My favorite far cry game so far.
If you're familiar with the far cry franchine, you won't find *many* different gameplay mechanics, but I would say this is the most unique one of them all.
with no access to towers maps are much easier and feel more natural to unlock, as you only need to explore the map by walking around.
the animal companions are also a nice addition, makes this game a bit more strategic than other ones.
Overall, 8/10 game!

You guys added so much content to this, proud to see a nostalgic dev team not give up and still trying to release new content, I can't wait to see this game fully finished

game ended up bigger than my expectations
a nice balance between farming and "exploring" (cleaning out the maps)
the "enemies" are pretty much nonexistent though.. killed in 2 hits so I wouldnt count them as part of the gameplay

the only critique i have for this game is that i wish the building/gardening was done in a better way, i cant help but feel that this game was either rushed horribly or that the developer simply doesnt have enough experience with this type of genre or coding in general

the animal farms are very weird, why do the farms have corners made out of fences like they have a barrier around them?
because ingame the animals roam outside of the barrier anyway so i feel like the fence wasnt needed

another thing that irritates me is that this game is controller oriented to the point where i have to work around the bugs on a PC to be able to use some features
for example the rotation of buildings doesnt work unless i wait for the game to decide to work properly (can take from 2 seconds to a minute)
and planting has to be done by pressing a button to every. single. crop. please just make it so that i can hold down E and plant all of my crops
