Silent Hill is so back!

The latest gold standard for what a remake of a classic game should be. Aside from a few performance issues and bugs I couldn't be happier with this release. Congrats to Bloober Team for their efforts and hopefully they can contribute more to this franchise in the future.

Best multiplayer game on steam.

Surprisingly turned out to be absolutely everything that I wanted and more. Separate Ways DLC helps to flesh out an already well crafted experience that surpasses the original.

Thank you Square Enix and Gemdrops. This is exactly what I needed and how I needed it. They stayed faithful to the original game but injected a number of QOL upgrades that really help this game shine in 2023. If you are a fan of 90's JRPG's this should be an easy win for you.
I will happily gobble up any other classic RPG's that you want to remake in this style (Xenogears)! ;-)

After spending more time with this version and the PS5 version I have decided to change my review. Could have and should have been much better than this. It works.. but it's just really sad. I don't understand how KONAMI thought that any of this was acceptable under any price tag.

Such a nostalgia fueled classic. The controls and gameplay are tight and the feel takes me right back to 1998. I would love to see an expansion or some kind of expanded release.
