A good little non-idle incremental experience

(far shorter than 11 hours, left it on overnight)

(it is the mobile game disco zoo with more modern incremental game elements)

Kind of truly kicks ass. And it's not even really a victim of the Seinfeld effect, it is obviously influential but it doesn't actually feel that much like modern shooters, it's a fun experience all its own. (As someone for whom this is my first boomer shooter)

Truly amazing concept, visuals 90% execution and design 75% execution.

Some of the graphical distortions at the end were a little much and the puzzles before the climax were opaque enough to kill my momentum going into the finale. A big hint couldn't have been showing up properly on my super ultra wide monitor so I had to look it up, can't really blame a game this old for that, and miiiight have been able to see it at another angle, haven't gone back to check.

But worth the money and very excited to get into the later installments. How have I not heard of this before now?

If you like Slay the Spire, don't wait. Monster Train is an excellent iteration on the genre.

This is a good and fun game. I was too young to play the originals for hours upon hours, but old enough to play them on N64 at McDonalds and recognize the levels they selected for this remake. I wasn't into scores and controls when I played the originals, but I've maxed out my Tony (cool phrase) and am working on completing the challenges to unlock a skin so I can skate around as a low-res original playstation Tony (cool unlock).

In short, if you're a hardcore fan of the series, you might know enough to dislike this game's mechanics and controls. But it's still a nice-looking remake pretty similar to the game you love. If you've never played THPS seriously, pick this up. Considering 5, it's the best way to play Tony Hawk without a trip to Game X Change.

I'm really scared of horror games, but I like it so far! Kinda felt embarassed playing it in front of my horror game hardened friends, though. It utilizes a lot of things-change-when-you-look-away technology, to good effect.

Looking forward to 3! Wish I didn't have to wait.
