Simple game for building factories. It has a attribute, keen to players making their own base of operations and extending branches, to gather resources, whilst defending from the fauna on the planet. The end goal is to build a rocket to blast off, however, I admire the smalls steps into creating facilities to help refine your resources and use them for your own benefit. It takes steps, pacing, leaping into the wonders of Factorio.
Good Luck

Too many late nights have I played Sea of Thieves.
The first experience guided me to the tutorials - called the "Maiden Voyage".
There was little to discover at first until a friend explained to me that there was treasures and secrets on the tutorial island.
Like a pirate and a scavenger hunt, both are similar.

Until I got into the servers and played solo on a small boat (sloop), I practically did what any explorer has done - grab a map (quest) and just sail! The water effects and textures are too amazing and it does feel I could throw up due to motion sickness, but I love the game and realism adds the charm.

Play along with friends or randoms, sail from small to long ships (3 types for selections) and plunder the islands for the gold it holds. Fight the foes from the living and dead and uncover the mysteries that lie in the tall tales texts.

A quote from the Pirate Lord (Maiden Voyage) - "There’s far more to being a pirate than a blade in your hand and a love of other people’s money. It’s about finding your way through ancient caverns by lamplight, digging up long-lost treasures…
… and raising a frothing great tankard of grog when you live to tell the tale!"

Early Access Review
In my first experience, I was overwhelmed with the objectives in this game. However, the tutorial prompts that start when making a new world, helps to players and guide them to extra information about the game. (As you play, you will discover new things and journals are added about general items, mechanics and monsters).

Playing alone is adventurous, you can explore the terrain and towns with potential loot or minerals. Loot weapons and items from accessible containers or craft yourself. Build defences to survive the dangerous of days and onslaughts of nights. (Deaths does not matter in the least bit, a penalty will incur and prevents experience gain. Otherwise, you can make it hardcore with the one life only).

With friends it is much more fun to play this game, as you and your group develops a set of skills, to which helps to make experience better in acquiring resources or lucky looting. You can make big forts, underground systems, deadly traps and a simple house, filled to the brim with mines and traps.

I would like to add is that, bugs in this game makes it funnier, especially with the rag-doll system. Just point a shotgun to zombies' faces and enjoy sending them flying!

TLDR - This game is best played with friends after you get a feel of single player.
